All done. I spread out the coats from 25 minutes to 45 minutes to an hours then a final touch up after 20 minutes. Pretty happy with the results. Going to let it cure for awhile then install em

So I got bored and had the stock bars for my Dominator Platinums lying around and I wanted to paint them black for the hell of it. If I messed up I already had the light bars installed so no big deal. Didnt use Plati-shit like everyone else Should I do it?? Fuck it, why not 1 coat down, probably going to do 3 My system right now aswell, still a work in progress

Im going to do them the same color, the main thing was doing the metal bars them selves black then maybe trying to get the acrylic to glow red. I dunno if i should paint the plain bars or the light bars though

@RichardSchwager Well thats one of the most well written descriptive posts I have ever seen from a new member and I thank you for that. About 4 weeks ago, when this issue started. MSi updated Afterburner to 4.1.0 FINAL. That is more than likely the reason why you were no longer able to reach the update server. I;m not sure if you were reinstalling the older 4.0.0 version when you tried that. If not here is a link to the download: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/msi-afterburner-beta-download,2.html Just scroll to the bottom and select 4.1.0 I highly doubt it could it is your GPU, I can pretty much guarantee it isnt.

Definitely my 7870, I was very sad to sell it last week as it was my first GPU. Then card was awesome at 1080p and for the last year ive been using it at 1440p and it handled it so well. The only game it ever kind of let me down on was Titanfall. That card got me through about 5000 hours of Arma 2, Arma 3 and DayZ. It overclocked like a beast, ran cool and looked damn sexy Edit: definitely misread the title as I only read it in the URL. Thought it was underwhelming tech that impressed you.- 411 replies
