The Clevo P650HS-G definitely gets my seal of approval. Picked up a Powerspec 1510 (Micro Centers brand of the P650HS-G) and swapped the panel out for a 120hz G-Sync panel and put a heavy undervolt on the CPU and GPU. Under full load at 115fps (capped to keep G-Sync active), the CPU tops out at 60C and GPU tops out at 55C with CLU on the dies on stock fans. That's with the CPU running an all-core boost of 3.4ghz, and the GPU maintaining 1800mhz boost at 0.875mv.
Now to work on overclocking the SO-DIMM's

This one just has the 7700HQ and GTX 1070. Managed to get it off Craigslist for $800, and used an AUO B156HTN05.2 120hz G-Sync panel that I had in a previous unit (paid $100 for it) to upgrade it.
I was mostly focused on thermals, as performance is already plenty good for a 1080p display, and G-Sync further improves that experience. Sadly, the BIOS is write protected on this particular unit, so I can't flash it for control over secondary and tertiary timings, meaning I can only overclock ram clock speed and primary timings. I do plan on modding the unit to move the CMOS battery to the underside of the case, so that I don't have to remove the keyboard to clear CMOS. That will certainly get old very quickly.

Well, I really want this kit, but I don't want to pay that kind of price for it, lol. Not only that, until I solve this write-protected bios issue, I doubt I'll be able to make it work even if I did get my hands on them.
