  1. I have adjusted fan curves but now my coolant temps are at 44C-46C, and i need to know if that temp is safe or not
  2. 1. Lian Li PC-O11 all 9 fans installed, top 3 are exhaust, and the rest are intake 2. My CPU temps are in the low 70s which is fine, im just worried about my coolant temps. And my gpu gets to like 72-74c 3. my pump is at its default curve, setting it to max barley reduces the coolant temp from like 45c to 44.3c
  3. Using fresh air makes a lot of sense, but I still don't understand the fact that from what I've seen most people have their Rads set up the same way I do but no one else seems to complain about the problem that Im getting.
  4. I have a ryzen 5600x, and a corsair h100i platinum se mounted to the top of my lian li PC o11 blowing air out the case. The problem that I have is that, since the cooler is blowing air from inside the case out. My coolant temp gets to levels that cause the default fan curve to literally max out. With my 3080 blowing hot ass air into the case, my cooler has to blow that hot air through the rad and that causes my coolant to hit temps around 36c-38c at a 2300RPM fan speed, at that point my PC is an actual jet plane. I adjusted my fan curve so that its not a jet plane, but now my coolant temps are at 44c-46c. Is that safe for long term usage? I don't really have a choice other than remounting my cooler so that its intake instead. But from what I've seen most people have their CPU coolers set up this way and I don't see anyone else complaining about this either.
  5. I have a 2070 super OC’d, and 3700x with a slight OC and 16gb 3600 cl16 memory. And while I play gta v my gpu sits at 50-60% most of the time and the highest it will ever go is in the mid 70% to very low 80%. My cpu sits in the mid 20% for utilization so it’s definitely not a bottleneck there. I’ve tried reinstalling gpu drivers, updating drivers, reinstalling the game, even reverting back to an older version of Windows and nothing has changed. I looked at online benchmarks of people with the same specs and they’re gpu usage is stable in the high 90s as it should be What the actual fuck is going on? The game is almost unplayable at parts. I tried lowering my graphics settings but my GPU usage lowers in return, resulting In my FPS not changing at all. My game is installed on an SSD as well so it’s not Bogged down by that as well. Im at my wit’s end right now.
  6. I have smt on all the time. I just turned it off during testing to see if it would fix it but it didn’t so I switched it back
  7. I have a 2070 super and a 3700x. After updating windows I’ve noticed serious gpu utilization issues in gtav and Minecraft specifically with optifine installed so far. Other games like metro and modern warfare have no problems and run perfectly fine so I don’t think it’s hardware. When I play gtav or Minecraft the gpu utilization is seriously low, like it’s in the 50s-60s most of the time and rarely jumps up to 80. I checked my power plan settings, AMD SMT turned off, Nvidia control panel and still nothing. I also rolled back my gpu drivers to the third and second most recent ones and still nothing. I can’t think of it being anything else but the newest windows update. I’ve seen some other person post about this same exact issue in the same game (gtav) as well so it’s definitely not just me
  8. I have the same problem with my 2070 super. I’ve tried rolling back drivers to the third most recent one and nothing, modern warfare runs fine And so does metro exodus but I’ve seen GTAV and Minecraft with shaders are having problems. Idk what other games are bad but it seems to be a software issue. Im pretty sure it’s the new Windows 10 update. After that this shit starting happening. I’ve tried changing my power plan, Nvidia panel, my temps are in the 50s-60s for my gpu so no thermal throttling, even turned smt for AMD off and still nothing. Windows fundamentally broke something Im fine and im not hungry certain
