  1. My Seasonic PSU came with the "paperclip" dongle, but it shorts the pins 3 and 4, not 4 and 5 like many other websites suggest when searching for "How to turn on a PSU without a motherboard?". Am I safe to use this paperclip adapter with every psu since 24pin is the same each time, or this is only for Seasonic? Thank you for the answers!
  2. I wrote it down, on the laptop its 1.4 the cable is 2.0
  3. yes but it does not work thats the problem and i don't know why
  4. Hey guys, first time poster here! I bought the cheapest 75 hz monitor I found on the flea market an AOC E2460S: its a 1080p monitor that supports 75hz. It has the same interface as in one of the AOC monitor that Linus made a video about not so long ago. I have the problem of not being able to get it to run on 75hz unless i lower my resolution into weird aspect ratios which are ugly. I use the hdmi connection on the monitor, I bought a cheap hdmi 2.0 cable for it. I have a Lenovo y520 15ikbn. I figured out the laptop has an hdmi 1.4 port. In theory it should've worked since i googled the specs of all the components before buying but it, and it did not. The laptop has a 1050 which has that weird, no features Nvidia control panel that doesn't do anything. I'm just trying to budget it as hard as i can, so i hope i can get this to work as it is, I figured buying another hdmi cable should fix it but i didn't find a 1.4 one and the other's prices are through the roof as always. I cant figure out what is the problem so i turn to you guys. Thank You In Advance! Csabi
