  1. it doesnt work for me, sadly. Thanks though. I think its weird that it has started to happen just now. The only thing that could have changed the system is that I installed OpenVPN again got one or two script errors from avira
  2. Hello While working on a paper for school, I noticed that some areas on my screen werent clickable anymore. It was very weird. Then I went into paint to trace to corners where I can draw again. It came out as the borders of some window, which is invisible and on top of all windows regardless of what I select. I didn't download anything before it happened and I am currently running a virus scan, though its highly unlikely, that it will find something. Any idea whats going on? The "box" is exatly in the middle of the screen and some parts of the invisible window make the finger appear on the curser, as in clickable link or something like that. Restarting also didnt work, I might try booting into safe mode later Thanks
  3. Shoot! Alright, thanks. it looks like the simple things are still too much to ask for from Microsoft
  4. Hello I'm just asking if anyone of you knows a setting or piece of software that allows you to display the taskbar icons like the clock on all monitors. Since gaming makes the main monitor go fullscreen, I cant look at the clock or other taskbar icons while doing so. Thanks!
  5. Heyo I'm in the market for a new monitor since forever and I am always looking for nice deals on some websites. Today I stumbled across a deal where I can get the Asus MG279Q for 500€ (550$) instead of 650€ (730$). I am currently using a single 970 by Gigabyte to run dual monitors in 1080p. I know it would make more sense to get the G-Sync version (or a stronger GPU), however the PG279q costs 350€ (400$) more in Germany and doesnt have any more features. I am planning on getting an AMD card next too. Either way, as the the free sync only goes up to 90Hz I probably wouldnt even use it with the Radeon card. I am currently looking at this monitor as a beastly 144Hz 1440p IPS Monitor by Asus without Free/G-Sync for 500 bucks. Is there something competing with that? Even the Dell one with a TN-Panel costs 70€ more than that. What would you do? Thanks
  6. that wont solve the problem because the output of the graphics cards doesnt have enough bandwidth
  7. apparently Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut is one of the best Edit: here is some graph a user made in a german forum where he tested several pastes
  8. Hello. So I decided to reinstall Windows on my PC. I have Windows and a few programs ond my SSD (82GB free of 237GB) and lots of data, games and programs on my HDD(151GB free of 931GB). If I unplug my HDD during the fresh install, will all the programs and games work after I installed Windows again? Is there anything else I need to know? I'm doing this to fix GTA5 not working since april. Btw, I used a technique (can't remember which one) to move the User folders (documents, pics etc) to the HDD. Thanks
  9. I like it overall too but the lacking features are kind of a bummer (NFC, Quickcharge, ..)
  10. Hello When Windows 10 is available for installing, what should I do? Do a clean install or just update? What are the downsides to just updating? Thanks
  11. I've tried both things already, still the same. If you're interested enough, heres the .log file from the game: http://pastebin.com/62u1yar8
  12. That's true. However the log file suggests that something is messing with my devices/vga. In addition, the game has worked before (roughly a month ago) and since then I've installed some drivers and that stuff. I think I meant the wrong thing when I said program, I mean just generally something that you install. I already sent a support ticket after trying numerous "100% fixes" on the internet but I guess I'll have to wait for the automatic support response that doesn't help at all and comes 3 months late..
  13. Hello I would like to know if there is a way of disabling programs instead of uninstalling them. The effect of disabling should be that it is "removed" from the system as if it was uninstalled but I can reenable it to keep all the data. I want to know this because my GTA 5 broke and reinstalling didn't help, so I have to troubleshoot every single thing, including programs, if it is causing my game to crash. Thanks.
  14. Its not a unibody or something like that, however the top part is made of aluminium
  15. Corsair K series? K95 RGB (most expensive model) with MX-Browns However it was probably the K70 as the left part of the K95 is made out of plastic
