Were you adding up the MHz in increments? Also, were you getting noticeable gains from adding 150 and 500? Did you consider it a successful overclock if the benchmark didn't crash or you got an increase in FPS?

It does seem that way. I got better results from +40MHz to GPU and Memory clock than I did adding 145MHz to GPU and 75MHz to memory.

So I decided to try overclocking my EVGA GTX 770 in Precision and run Heaven for benchmarking. I got it up to +145MHz GPU clock offset and +75MHz MEM clock offset, anything more, while it runs, actually gives me worse results. I only really got maybe, 4-5 FPS increase from this overclock, I was expecting more lol. Is there a limit in which GPUs don't yield better FPS? Sorry if these are dumb questions, GPU OC'ing n00b here.

Unfortunately I haven't run into anyone who knows about LTT or any of the other big Yt tech personalities. I'm usually the one telling everyone else about them haha. Some of Linus' videos and a couple from Tek Syndicate have helped me help some friends with buying PC parts.
