    Go into your BIOS and look around for settings like "SpeedStep" and try disabling that.

    On Haswell, Intel's speedstep technology doesn't seem to affecting overlocking that much. So, back in previous generations over clockers would disables these settings to prevent the CPU from under clocking itself at idle or low usage to lower the power draw. However, this setting doesn't seem to have the same affect on Haswell. However, you may want to look into the UEFI and look for SpeedStep and disable it if your having that issue.

    Your system draws like 500W from the wall max under full load, even after a hefty overclock on the both the GPU and CPU. Also, Reason why hes recommending the MSI card over the EVGA one is cause, your spending alot more money for the exact same card, just a different cooler. So if that cooler is really worth the 80 dollar difference to you then go get it. Other than that, both use reference PCBs.

    It's just software control and personally i dont think its worth the extra $100 they asking. I only got the AX1200i because it was red.

    Its still overpriced. They made it look good by making titan cost $1,000 and then making 780 cost $650. Dumb consumer logic makes us think its a good price.

    If your not happy with what that card is giving you, then you may want to upgrade, under that condition.
