  1. I don't know but seasonic is overall just better then the cooler master. cooler master also has good series of PSU's but they are pretty expensive where you can get the same one from seasonic or superflower for less. My neighbour kid recently put one in his system, the G serie 80+ gold rated PSU. A very beautifull one comes with a bag for spare cable's and has a nice clean build and even with only 2 fans on his case I didn't hear the PSU. Also the corsair is bronze where the seasonic is gold. Also: http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&file=print&reid=430 GM review vs. Seasonic review: http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story6&reid=323 Says enough also a great website to see what an electrical engineer thinks about a PSU .
  2. I also heard many say that the CX series are not that good. Look at superflower, seasonic or EVGA they have great gold rated psu for not high prices. You can get a 550 W superflower PSU for like 70 euro's. Also I am dutch so I know the correct prices and also use tweakers . 650 W: http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/419571/super-flower-golden-green-hx-650-watt.html 550 W: http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/400999/super-flower-golden-green-hx-550-watt.html
  3. G.Skill is fine RAM I think the guy that told you that it is bad should re read some stuff. In your last build you went from a 290 down to a 270 that will impact the performance of gaming in a mayor way. The rest of @IanDrexP was totally fine and paying more for corsair is dum plus the fact you need low profile RAM to be sure that it fits with a CPU cooler.
  4. Well in the benchmark they run the BX100 scored worse in all the tests except the gaming one. Still I would get a MX100 or just a 840 Evo because that one beat all of them in each test.
  5. BX100 was tested to be better in gaming and MX100 is still overall better.
  6. If you live in holland I just wanna say on tweakers.net there is a guy selling 74x XFX R9 290. Yes it is a reference cooler, but it is an insane deal. Also has them from sapphire 111 or something there. Anyway I am in agreement with @Superfichtig his build. Would get a Superflower HX green when possible depending on the extra cost but the rest yeah top notch and maybe get a A-Data SP900 it has better write speeds but that is about it.
  7. Sure it was kinda more off topic as his argument was not correctly explained. Anyway 980 is not possible without sacrificing so much you are not gonna run a system with a card that is 50% your budget.
  8. Because on board crossfire? he doesn't need a HDD and no OS so you save 110 Pounds there with the 140 of dual R7's he can easily get a 290 which is a ton better.
  9. I still love this argument because they both still have 4 Gb VRAM so you are wrong you should have said. The 4 Gb of the 290X all run on full speed where the last .5 Gb shares the L2 Cache making it only run at only 1/7 of its normal speed. Although this is a thing the GTX970 didn't change because it had this before we knew the issue and therefore all benchmarks still show how it equals a 290X or just outright beat it.
  10. Lol missed the forum the whole weekend because I closed it accidently .
  11. Running mods depends on the game and what it utilises more but I guess it probably gonna demand more GPU power for textures or a SSD for loading all the props in faster, maybe RAM too for loading more stuff not realy CPU power but I don't know this because I am not a mods guy. I like to play my games au naturel. Well yes I already said a 8 Core chip is nice when you do a lot of multitasking but he asked for a Gaming PC which still doesn't need a FX Chip with 16 Gb RAM. Then on the personal note you are assuming I am none of the above well you guessed right, but taking appart a CPU doesn't broaden your knowledge of how well one CPU fairs against another one for that we have benchmarks. If you would really work with computers all day for whatever reason I would have expected a better build. Next time try to add interpunction in your post, so we all actually understand what you are trying to say and maybe not go all caps no one enjoys it and it just makes you look really upset for no reason, For now I am just gonna agree to disagree as we have different opinions, I would have gone a I5 for more upgradability, better in game performance and less heat and noise against you going for a FX-8320 because it is "better", has more cores (but lesser performance in a lot of games).
  12. Dont get your hardware information from that guy because he is brainwashed to shit. Do your own research plus ask on forums much better overall awnsers as you create discussions and they lead to the overall best solution for your problem.
  13. Future crossfire? Also a I wouldn't get a Antec PSU, why buy a Seasonic or FSP PSU sold under a different name.
  14. The CPU is good enough but don't expect 120 FPS on Ultra preset. I would get a better PSU maybe even higher wattage. The CPU stock cooler is fine but will cool less and make more noise. Club 3D is a fine brand there are off course better ones. Future proof is a dirty word don't use it you can't future proof a system only spend a shit ton of money to make it more viable for longer.
  15. Yeah I know and you are totally right. For my next build I am going for either of those two as they are really good PSU's. Well that was not really smart but again my opinion. The AM3+ socket is dead in upgradability especially as you chose the most expensive CPU. Pls don't get a razer laptop for gaming there are much better gaming laptops or you must like wasting money.
