  1. Thanks for the suggestions guys, I guess I posted prematurely, as I installed the RAM I'd already bought and that seems to have fixed most of the issues I was having somehow. Thanks for your help!
  2. Here's my spec, also bought 8GB more of RAM as I found I was running out when playing games (so I had to close chrome), which I'm going to install tomorrow.
  3. Hi guys, I recently bought a used GTX 980Ti off eBay, and since then I've been having problems playing games on the recommended settings by GeForce Experience. My main problem is with GTA V, with the frame rate holding at 45 FPS when I'm racing, and it'll sometimes freeze for a few seconds. I've also tried BF4 briefly and I find that the textures on the ground take a while to load. The card seems to be fine when benchmarked with Firestrike, with no stuttering or problems rendering textures, which leaves me a little confused. My rigs specs are listed down below. I would just return the card, but it's now passed the 30 day return window as at first I just thought it was GTA V causing problems. Has anyone got any suggestions? Here's the result from my benchmark in Firestrike: http://www.3dmark.com/fs/9510612 Thank you in advance
  4. Hi, I was building my PC today, and after wresting with my cooler for an hour I realised to my horror that I had installed it backwards. I didn't want to go through the ordeal of reinstalling it, so instead I just moved the fans around so that they were in the same orientation and position as if I had installed the cooler the right way round. But I've just realised there's an indentation on the side where the fan was installed (see picture), whereas the side I reinstalled the fan on is flat. Is this OK, or should I reinstall the heatsink in the correct orientation? Thank you in advance!
  5. Tbf, I did get a 600C which only has a scratch on the bottom for half price ?
  6. Hi, I just got this cooler in an Amazon Waterhouse deal. The only damage was supposed to be to the box, but to me the tower looks Bent. Can you guys confirm this to me, or is it supposed to look like this? Thank you in advance.
  7. I'll grab a copy of 3D mark in the Steam sale and also try Furmark. Thanks for the help guys
  8. Is there any thought of procedure you'd recommend for running them though? As I tried FurMark before posting but there's loads of settings and it doesn't seem to ever stop until you tell it to.
  9. Hi guys, I've just bought a used GTX 980 Ti off of eBay yesterday, and I've never bought a used graphics card before, so I was just wondering if there is anything any of you guys would recommend to test it out to make sure there's nothing wrong with it? In addition, I'm going to be selling my old EVGA GTX 670 2GB FTW, and admittedly for some reason I decided to use my card for mining a couple years ago thinking I could make a profit. I used it for a few hours a day for a month or so I think, but can't quite remember. So is there anyway to see if I've damaged my current card, or would there likely to have been no damage done considering the time period? Thanks in advance!
  10. I'm just going to email Corsair and see what they say just to be on the safe side. Thanks for the responses guys!
  11. I'm about to buy an ASUS Maximus V Extreme, and I'm looking to get a really nice looking case for it, so I was looking at the Corsair Carbide 600C. But the Maximus is listed as "Extended ATX Form Factor 12.0 inch x 10.7 inch ( 30.5 cm x 27.2 cm )", and the Corsair Carbide as listed supporting "EATX (12in x 10.6in)", so there's obviously a 0.1 inch difference in the listing in the second dimension. I'm just wondering if this is just margin of error or something, as I thought EATX is a standardised size, or do I need to be looking for case which supports EATX "12.0 inch x 10.7 inch" motherboards. Here's the links for each of the two's specs if it helps ASUS Maximus V Extreme: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/MAXIMUS_V_EXTREME/specifications/ Corsair Carbide 600C : http://www.corsair.com/en-gb/carbide-series-clear-600c-inverse-atx-full-tower-case Thank you in advance.

  13. I like the Xperia V2 as that camera app looks way better than my Nexus 5's >_< And I like the dbrand skin as it doesn't look tacky and instead looks a fairly natural part of the phones ergonomic
