  1. I have windows 10 installed right now, but i have no experience with updating this type of BIOS. and as mentioned above i did reset/ clear CMOS which sets the BIOS to default, if you have any tips to help me find the right bios update tool i would appreciate it. That may be, but as it's based on Ubuntu and as far as i can see there are no compatibility issues. In turn is why i'm asking if anyone has come across this before as i have not.
  2. Hi, did not see a search option so i took a rough look before posting. I have this weird problem with my girlfriends laptop where only Manjaro, Ubuntu and Windows boot Devices will work for installing an OS, There's a selection screen for the Chipset where Windows is selected (See image below) if i change it to "Intel Linux" the Laptop refuses to post and i have to reset/ clear CMOS. If i try loading Pop!_OS or a Yumi multiboot USB i get the screen in the picture below, i have checked that the boot media is right as it works in other computers and is flashed onto USB via the recommended method per OS. Has anyone encountered this problem before? I would like to Install Pop!_OS since i have it on my laptop and i'm more familiar with it. if not i guess Ubuntu will have to suffice. If anything is unclear or if i have written anything wrong please do not hesitate to make me reiterate. 13. I like the new 900 series for the new look ad for the power efficiency. The new zotac ones may not have the same power efficiency but it's power and overclockability makes up for it, it also looks good.
