In so many ltt videos, linus is shouting out the water bottle and he has got this lid on his that looks really nice. Nothing wrong with the stock lid, but i like to drink my water not sip, and on multiple occasions (way to many) i spill while taking a drink. also when in a moving its basically impossible not to spill with the stock lid (at least for this monster). Its not a huge deal when you put water in the bottle, but i like my 40 ounces of coffee and i drink it too. Any idea what lid he is using/ any suggestions for lids that are compatible?

Basically i have my old motherboard, fx 8350, and gtx 770 collecting dust on a shelf atm. i upgraded to an x570 board, 3800x, and a 2080 super (plan was to get a valve index, still waiting 7-9 weeks smh. Im not even interested in regular games anymore. i got a taste of vr a while back and it has ruined my interest in anything else). that was so freakin easy, the msi board was labeled clearly, and the nzxt case connectors were also labeled. everything kinda just worked out so perfect and easy. Only issue was the board had the stupid extra cpu connector that threw me for a loop, but a 2 second google search resolved my issue. Well not for my current issues, i have some rando retail plus 600w psu kicking around, and a asus demo unit case for an oem unit i picked up for less than 1$ each years ago (perks of workin retail). thing is, nothing is labeled, and i dont have any manuals to fall back on. Stupid question number 1: The psu has a 24 pin eps, a 6pin eps, and a 4pin eps connector. my motherboard has a 24 pin port (simple enough) and an 8 pin port labeled cpu. im like 70% sure that 6pin is for pcie and that 4 pin is supposed to be for the cpu. what are they actually for and can i somehow make it work. Stupid question number 2: my 770 has an 8 pin power and additional 6 pin power port. That 6pin eps connector, where and how to i plug that into the gpu. with the psu it was hooked up to before, i just had an 8 pin connector labeled cpu, and two off the 6+2 connectors labeled pcie. Id prefer no to go out, but i have a feeling im making a trip to memory express for a new psu. For right now though if i can make the psu i have work, i want to know. Stupid question number 3. Those unlabeled connectors for my case, well here are some photos i hope you can tell me what they are. My motherboard is labeled nicely so if i know what im trying to plug in i can avoid a heart attack when i go to power this thing on. There are also 4 sata data cables, which i assume are for the 4 usb ports. there is also a headphone and mic jack, and an sd card reader Hd audio? Power and reset? Usb for the sd? More audio? why cant these just be labeled I know it would be so much easier for me to just run down to memory express and spend like 150$ on a nice case and nice semi modular psu. But that would require me to leave my house and spend my hard earned money

if you havnt watched the wan show yet you should, but the basic topic i really want to continue is that digital copys of games should (or should not) be re sell-able. Also i think luke and linus did a craptastic job of representing single player games worth going back and replaying, so to prove them wrong lets list a bunch. to start however, i think that its really simple. There is no solid answer, and the ability for companies to allow digital copies of games, and software for that matter, should be clearly laid out that yes it can be sold or no it cant. It could be a selling feature of a game or platform, for example epic could allow you to resell games bought on their platform as a selling feature to get people to use said platform. It should not be a forced feature however. This also gives more value to purchasing a hard copy of a game. I for example still buy hard copies of Nintendo games for my switch. That said, i think forcing companies to disclose exact details of the terms of use should really be what is being fought for. also, there is 0 reason for a company like Dassault Systèmes to be allowed to sell solid works license for tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars for some companies, and only thousands for others. imo that is proper bs, but that is a different issue altogether. also games i think are totally re-playable. - literally every pokemon game, infact the only one i havnt played at least twice is lets go (mostly because im not a big fan of the catching and leveling system). most pokemon games ive played more times than i can keep count - the elder scrolls games. ive only played skyrim and oblivion, but both ive played several times not even counting the times ive gone back with mods. - cod zombies, so many freakin great maps i cant even remember them all - literally every mario game ive played. sunshine, galaxy, odyssey to name a few favs ive replayed im sure i have more but these are the most notable examples of single player games ive gone back to

Basically my 6t stopped connecting to my wifi, claiming it had an authentication issue. i verified my password, it being correct, ive reset my router and played around with it a bit. I have smart stearing enabled as its very convenient, however when this is enabled my phone will not connect to the wifi. when disabling it, my phone will only connect to the 3.4g band and has the same issue with the 5g band. Also when setting a rule that the mac adress of my phone is to connect to the 2.4g band, it works as expected. Its a band aid fix however and i would like to know if there is a proper solution. most other people with this issue seem to just be told its their router from what ive read googling around (my pixel xl and laptop have 0 wifi related issues, its not my router)

I know one thing for sure, i will definitely miss this.

The only reason i hesitate to buy an iPhone is that ive never owned an apple device, and have had a hard enough time using other people's iphones. Now that they have a totally new ui design, ontop of the fact there is an ugly notch, i am still on the fence about it. Its not that i would be incapable of learning to use it, but im not sure if i want to. Also no app drawer really grinds my gears, especially when i see people with walls of apps.

Maybe Samsung has gotten their game together since the note 4, however the way people talk about Samsung phone support makes me belive otherwise. Put it this way, on my note 4 i had issues syncing gmail, would not receive calls, sometimes missed texts, had spotty Bluetooth, and had multiple crashes in a single day for no apparent reason. Even after i factory reset the phone, it still had issues. Once i got my pixel, i have yet to have any issues, other than an issue with the Bluetooth and my truck stereo, which i found a work around for, and was completely fixed after an update. Im not asking for Samsung to bring the latest and greatest features and updates whenever google has somthing new for Android. Imo thats an unreasonable expectation. What is reasonable to expect is to get security and bug fix updates several years into the lifespan of the device, even just two years of commitment would sell me a note 9 today.

Still going to cost almost as much given how worthless the Canadian $ is. There is a reason linus calls our currency Canadian rubles lol. Because of this, it wouldn't be woth the hassle given oneplus has their own Canadian online retail shop and only rounded up 4$ on the currency conversion.

Tdlr: We need a 2018 phone round up. I also need advice on a new phone (flagship range) Basically, i have a pixel xl and absolutely love it. From day one ive had a hard on for it, and other than an issue i had with the Bluetooth a while back (resolved), no issues. But it now has some serious screen burn and is starting to showing its age. Ive been looking for a new phone for months now but have been really torn apart by what is on the market. And as a pjxel owner already, i was really hyped for the pixel 3 xl, but actually cried when it was released. That notch is probably the ugliest thing on a phone released in years. The note 9 seems to be every i want, but one small problem... Its a samsung, which is somthing i swore to never purchase again after i replaced my note 4 with my current pixel. I am simply sick of the lack of support samsung phones get, and i almost bought an iPhone when i upgraded, but ultimately got a pixel. I also swore id never buy another samsung phone again given how infuriating my note 4 was when i upgraded it (and my s3 before that). The one+ 6T on the other hand looks just as perfect, except im Canadian eh, and the 8gb 128gb midnight black is going to be over 800 cad after tax. Its not that i cant afford that, especially considering how much contracts have gone up in the last 2 years, but its still would be an 800$ pill for a phone i cant even walk into a store to purchase. Also consider the lack of cases there are for it, even on amazon, is a real kick in the balls. Like i couldnt find a single case with a kick stand, let alone one that would at least have given some drop resistance. Overall i am really torn, and could really use a 2018 phone buyer's guide or something. At the very least i could really use some advice. I also have considered waiting until next year to upgrade my phone, and just replace my pixels screen and battery to get me by. But the s10 leaks look like ass, and it will probably end up being a 10 month wait just to see the pixel 4. Not to mention the iPhone xs max, although has an ugly notch, isnt near as bad as the pixel xl 3, and checks off every other box for me. And i basically use my phone for calls, texts, emails, google, and videos in bed. Every else means nothing to me (considering how good literally every phones camera is), but i would have to learn how to use an iPhone and would also be supporting a company against right to repair which i dont like the idea of. That said my one phone purchase means nothing considering how many people apple already has in the ecosystem.

I get not everyone has a sense of dark humor, but my friends and i do, and i use discord with my friends. its not like im running around saying sexual relationships with under age girls is remotely ok. there is nothing wrong with dark humor given the correct context. Not to mention, "playing with little girls" is by no means sexual unless you infer it to be. as far as you know i could be a father playing with little girls of my own. that is not sexual at all. but without looking for context you assume that it is sexual and is wrong. sure you assumed correctly in this case, but without context there is no way to know and given the contest of the joke, all be it dark, there is nothing wrong with it. im not endorsing pedophilia in any way, rather im poking fun at myself for an inside joke that has been long run within my group of friends. This is not a public facebook page where anyone could stumble across it and take offence, its on my discord which i use with my friends, who are in on the joke...

Edit: I figured it out. Thanks for the help! Basically, spotify is now a verified program on discord and i can no longer use it to make my discord say "playing x" when my pc is idle with no actual games open. I used spotify as i have it open when my pc starts and is literally always open. Now this is no longer an option for me so what i want to do is make a program that literally does nothing other than i can have automatically open when my pc starts, and will automatically me minimized to the task tray so i never have to look at it or know it open, but will achieve my goal of having my custom playing message.

ive been using gyazo for years, and it works great. that is until i want to take a screen shot in a game. i hate using the steam screenshot system and prefer the instant upload, heres the link to share and view the image, approach. i could really care less if it has banner ads, or if it looks all sexy. all i need it to do is let me hit printscreen, select the area i want, and take the screenshot while im full screen.
