  1. Hi, Okay, so I've been trying to wirelessly connect my Laptop to My Sony Bravia TV using miracast, however in my "Devices" section it does not have the option to add any devices (Only has the usual options of Duplicate, Extend, Second Screen only). My TV is compatible with Miracast as I have the Screen Mirroring option to connect to my phone. I checked to see if my Laptop was compatible with Miracast using the DxDiag and it said "Miracast: Not Supported by Graphics driver". I then tried to update my Graphics Driver (I have an AMD 8970M) from Software Version 17.4.1 to Software Version 17.7.1 but no effect as the DxDiag still showed "Miracast: Not Supported by Graphics driver". Not sure what to do now. If anyone has any ideas, it'd really be appreciated. Thanks
  2. How do I get this on steam..... This is a ridiculously good deal and every ounce of my being is shouting at me to buy it but.....I want it to be on steam as I prefer to have all my games operated through one interface/app.
  3. Alright so I've updated the BIOS and the problem seems to have diminished....It still happens but not as often. I'll have to test the cpu next and see if that is causing the problem.
  4. Hey guys, Thanks for all your suggestions. I installed ubuntu and used gparted to find and format the HDD's.
  5. Hi Ed, I have already tried to use DISKPART with the list volume command and the list disk command but it only detects my bootable ssd. I have already disconnected and reconnected the drives to different SATA ports but it did nothing. The only thing I haven't done is connect it to the SATA Express Ports on the Mobo. The only thing I could think of now to do is to update the BIOS and see if that sovles this problem. Thanks for the advice though.
  6. Update: Just downloaded WD Data Lifeguard Diagnostics and ran a quick test on my system. It did in fact detect it on my system....So I have no idea what to do..... See picture:
  7. How can I do that if they don't even show up in disk Management?
  8. Yes these are new drives. WD Green 4TB No they're 4TB WD Green Drives. I have been looking for drivers for the SATA controller and for the WD Geen drives, but I haven't found any that worked so far.
  9. Hi There, I have not been able to detect my 2x 4TB HDDs on my pc. I see them in my bios and in device manager but they do not show up in disk management even after re-scanning my drives in disk management. I have tried to uninstall from device manager and rescan for hardware changes but whenever I uninstall, a 4TB HDD it says I need to restart to complete the uninstallation. If I do not restart and instead choose to scan for hardware changes, it does NOT come back... Only when i restart does it show back up. I have tried disk management, but no matter what I do the drives do not show up in disk management and I have tried to re-scan the drives to get them to show up but to no avail. However my main bootable drive does have 2 partitions for some reasons. I have tried reattaching the cables for the HDD's to different SATA ports....The only thing I haven't tried is to put it into the SATA Express....... Also I have tried to boot from the HDD's with windows 8.1 cd in the drive, but all it does is show the light blue windows logo on a black screen with the loading and symbol and take me directly to recovery options...... All the cables are connected correctly and securely........ Don't know what else to do..... as the drives do show up in both the BIOS correctly and the Device Manager..... Oh one last thing, in the Device Manager on the HDDs' properties whenever I click on the Volumes Tab and then Click populate, it gives the error saying "Volume information for the disk cannot be found" If anyone has any suggestions as to how to fix this problem I'm all ears.... 10. Sorry for the long delay in reply. I have tried setting the bios to default but that did not help as it still sometimes says "Overclocking Failed" when booting up. There are BIOS updates available but I'm not quite sure how to update them as there are CAP Files. i suspect I'd have to use a usb or cd and boot from them in order to update the BIOS but Im not sure whether I have to format the USB/CD and then put the files onto them or I can just put the files on them directly. I'd already tested the cpu, gpu's (separately) and the ram with one GPU at a time. Everything seem to work fine, so i suspect it is either a voltage problem or a software problem
  11. Okay so the issue is still persisting. But sometimes if I try to restart it again or 3 times in a row it sometimes loads windows 8.
  12. After the problem started happening, I couldn't load Windows 8. The only thing I am certain of is that it is not temperature related. Also I never tried to OC the system at all. I'm not sure how that would help but I'll give it a try. Thanks
  13. Hi There, My pc specs are as follows: Ram: Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB Kit (4GBx4) DDR4 2400 MT/s (PC4-19200) CL16 SR x8 Unbuffered DIMM 288-Pin Memory Optical Drive: ASUS BW-12B1ST/BLK/G/AS 12X Blu-ray Internal Burner Drive with Disc Encryption Case: Cooler Master HAF X - Full Tower Computer Case with High Airflow Windowed Side Panel and USB 3.0 CPU: Intel Core i7-5960X Haswell-E 8-Core 3.0GHz LGA 2011-v3 140W Desktop Processor MotherBoard: ASUS RAMPAGE V EXTREME, Extended ATX x99 Motherboard , LGA 2011-V3 Socket, DDR4 3300Mhz+(OC) CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 Hardrives: 2 x Western Digital 4 TB Green SATA III 5400 RPM 64 MB Cache Bulk/OEM (Storage) 1 x Intel SSD DC P3700 Series SSDPEDMD400G401 (400GB, 1/2 Height PCIe 3.0, 20nm, MLC) (For installing games/programs/OS) GPU: 2 x GTX 980 Geforce Gigabyte G1 Windforce Power Supply: EVGA Supernova 1000 Monitor: Samsung 28-Inch Ultra High Definition LED Monitor At first it worked normally, but whenever I played SoM on it it would freeze. Now whenever I try to boot it it says "overclocking failed" (I've never tried to overclock it) and when I restart it from the bios it goes into sleep mode when trying to boot windows 8 (monitor and all peripherals turn off and mother board has code AA) Any Ideas?
  14. At the moment I'm still looking into getting a full sized bracket but so far this is the only thing I've come up with: http://www.amazon.co...=A2LG6SUAZFT9TS
