  2. I need help sourcing an I/O set up. Im building a custom case for my friend, and this is my first time building a case from scratch. I need a complete I/O set (Power button, usb 3.0, audio). Im not super picky. Infact seeing how difficult it is to find one with a power button im getting desperate. Extra features are welcome. I will be adding a fan controller to it also, so maybe an AIO would with the works would be great. I appreciate any help, This forum is always super helpful.
  3. This is what i ended up doing. I have everything but the graphics card and i will put it all together on monday. I puchased everything from new egg and ended up around 820+. like i said no graphics card and the OS i already had. 4. I was recommended a 970 for the build i will be working on soon. It would be nice if it paid for itself ^-^.
  5. this is great. You guys are dope. As far as OS i already own a extra copy of win 8 and i have no use for a optic drive. if i needed one my room mate had an external one i can barrow.
  6. Whats wrong with a crossblade ranger?
  7. If i go with an I5 will i need a graphics card for a while?
  8. I wanted to stay away from pentium. it may be irrational, but i have never seen good performance from them. If i was gonna go intel would an I5 be good for me? Let me explain my self. Im a laptop guy. Going to desktop is new to me, actually not. Its just been a while. last time i had a desktop I put the Athalon II in it. you know... because it was the shit... then...
  9. but you said no Kaveri. Do you know of any other way to run a computer well without a graphics card? im probably going to be waithing a month to get one but i need the computer soon. I figured Kaveri would be ideal for me.
  10. price point is about 600 now . but I defiantly dont have a problem being atleast 1K into it when its finished. I am willing to skip on the ram and drives now. I have a job. I just have 600 now and I need a new computer. My hp split X2 aint going to hold me over very long.
  11. So im picking out some parts for a new build. Im trying to go with a mid level expense/performance computer. I choose Kaveri. Linus and AMD say that Kaveri is great with an R7 250, so thats what im gonna spring for. The R7 250 has two variants and a million manufactures. I wanted an answer for some questions about them. >should I go with the GDDR5 1 gig or the DDR3 2 gig? >Which manufactures would you guys recommend? >Should I even be buying a R7 250, or is there a better card out there now for that price range? >Would it be worth crossfiring it with the Kaveri or doubling up on that cards later down the road? Thanks alot guys. I appreciate the help here. If it means anything im planning on using a Asus Crossblade Ranger.
