  1. I feel like a lot of Razer's products just aren't very good quality and are too expensive. For example, a Nostromo, a rubber dome keypad retails for $69.99 USD, you could get a full mechanical keyboard for that, or maybe just a little more. Razer recently updated this with a mechanical version featuring MX Blues, and it retails for $129.99. It's just a keypad, and you're still going to need a full keyboard. I've also owned a Razer Blackwidow 2013, and bought it for about $170 IIRC. I have to say it was the worst mechanical keyboard I've owned, and the most expensive. Synapse is buggy as hell, the build quality is crap, and it just feels very cheap. I've owned quite a few Razer products, and the only one I thought was decent was the Deathadder. I have a Carcharias, Blackwidow, Nostromo, and a Deathadder (I was a Razer fanboy at one point). I've also owned products from Cooler Master and Logitech. All my products from either manufacturer are cheaper than their Razer counterparts, and were much cheaper. I've had no problems with either manufacturer. My conclusion is that Razer products just aren't very good except for a select few, and they're too expensive for what you get.
  2. +1, I have two GTs on my H100i and they're great.
  3. Install WhoCrashed (direct .exe DL), try to recreate the BSOD if you can, and wait for it to completely dump. Boot back into Windows, launch WhoCrashed, and click analyze. It should tell you what is causing the problem.
  4. The quality loss is very small from what I've heard, so no need to worry.
  5. I use Avast + MalwareBytes + Spybot, excellent protection and completely free. Spybot is probably unnessecary, but it's good for finding tracking cookies and other crapware. You should also use Ninite to install programs, you can check what you want and you don't want. Don't install pirated software, use ad blockers (disable on sites you support if you want), and use your head.
  6. And just when you thought US citizens had enough to be pissed about...more proof that the US government is only to serve the wishes of the large corporate entities instead of the people.
  7. 11:00 AM, Central Indiana here.

  9. What kind of music? Depending on your music tastes, you might want to pick something different. Out of those 3 however, I would go for the 600s. I have the 650s and they sound great, although note that they aren't terribly bassy.
  10. What are you using these for?
  11. Answer these and we can give you a realistic answer: What resolution are you playing at Are you using mods, and if so what mods Are you using shaders, and if so what shaders What is the rest of your system
  12. Here's my go: http://imgur.com/bcPxGWC I also have the .PSD if anybody wants to edit it.
  13. It shouldn't matter too much, I think you should get the cheapest. If there's a tiny margin of price, I say go for WD because I've had great experiences with their warranty system.
  14. Avast free + MalwareBytes + Spybot 2 Avast is great if there's a malicious .exe trying to run, Malwarebytes is good for just finding general trojans, PuPs, etc, and Spybot is good for getting rid of tracking cookies and other crapware.
  15. I think your best bet is to either save up for a bit, or get some cheap-o $20 keyboard and $20 mouse.
  16. Team Fortress 2 Planetside 2 War Thunder Dota 2* League of Legends* Hawken* Loadout* Super Crate Box Black Mesa Realm of the Mad God Spelunky Quake Live Neopets (yes, I'm serious) Emulated games (NES, SNES, N64, Genesis, etc.) * = I haven't played personally but have heard good things about it Runescape is also another one, but I feel like it really went downhill after the GE implementation. Runescape classic is still available (must have a membership, $7/mo), but it's not free. Classic is a snapshot from around 2007 that is still being updated to bring bug fixes, patch exploits, etc. I played it for a while and It's pretty fun if you're into RS; much better than the current one.
  17. I think you should take it, one excellent card is better than two OK cards, but this is assuming you wouldn't have to pay something extra. If you would have to pay money, I think you should stay with the 760s.
  18. If you keep spamming that in every thread you're probably going to get banned.
  19. 840 EVO from Samsung. Best price:performance ratio, and I haven't had a single issue with my Samsung SSDs. If you can't pick the EVO for some reason, I would go Intel.
  20. I remember a few months ago when they were $180...I just hope this GPU mining mess dies off soon, or at least the retailers can set cards back to their normal price. Unfortunately it's probably going to be bad for a while if Nvidia can get better OpenCL support for their cards, and if that happens, then that means expensive cards for both sides.
  21. Use mineral oil, unless of course you're building a deep fryer.
