Ok well I've decided the look I want to go for. I have decides to mod the case and run the "dead" loop in and out of the case for a cyborg look. It still will not be cooling the components but it will give it more than just a RES to look at.
My build is completely air cooled it has about 13 fans total. But I was watching a water cooling vid, one of singularity computers, and as he was filling his RES at about 3/4 the way full it looked like it was a faucet and I like the way it looked. Tho it would continually push air bubbles into the loop. And it would just he for fun. And for the noise I don't mind loud computers I actually enjoy the noise.
I was wondering if I could build a "dead" water loop what I mean by that is a loop that servers no purpose other than to be seen. I was thinking for it to look like a faucet where I would have a loop going directly from the bottom of the res to the top and it pouring into the res like it is a running faucet.
Its going to be for a photo shoot my wife is going to do also I want to play around with case modding. That's why I say destroyed I have a power drill a table saw a drill press and about to get a dremel. So I just wanted to see what I could come up with.
it is actually my mother-in-law's laptop but shes "a bit" of an alcoholic and is too stupid to use a laptop properly so my father-in-law wants me to put it in a desktop case so she thinks its a desktop and doesn't try to move it around but so he can take it out and use it as a laptop when he wants to.
ok so i have a question, i have a laptop that i want to use as a desktop ie: leave it running 24/7 so I know it will need some extra cooling also i want To put it inside a desktop case for reasons i care not to explain. while leaving the laptop fully intact so it can be used as a laptop when need-be i planed on laying the case on its side as to just sit the laptop in the case. Is there anything i should be worried about when doing something like this also any advice would be appreciated
