  1. Setup: Steel Series Rival (bought it before all those numbers appeared at the end) a $15 knock off USB Keyboard Turtle Beach X12 headset ( from the peasantry years) Thanks and good luck to all entering
  2. I have a shitty $15 keyboard that was going to the trash and sometimes it dosen't work and somehow I havent bought a new keyboard so yea.
  3. I like the gigabyte G1 but those orange accents put me off and the Asus Strix was on my mind but how they did the io is weird imo, but is something im looking into its just that the Gaming X's design prefer over these two, plus if i do pull off the paint job it couldd look sick
  4. So Pascal is upon us and I want to upgrade to a GTX 1080, and with AIB cards releasing , I'm underwhelmed by most of the new 1080's i don't know why but most of them just look ugly imo except for the MSi GTX 1080 Gaming X, admittedly not much has changed in the way aesthetics since the 900 series, but I like it quite a bit, my only gripe is the color red/black, nothing against the color but i'm planning to overhaul my PC with new motherboard, CPU, and case all revolving around a black/white color scheme. I'm aware MSi does offer a black/white card in the Armor series, but cmon it dose not look as good as the Gaming X (imo), Also it dose not have a backplate included (which I know its a stupid reason). So to solve my predicament I've thought about getting the 1080 Gaming X, disassemble it and paint the red parts white, put it back together and have a potentially awesome looking graphics card (If i don't screw it up and throw away ~$600) So I listed a poll to gather some opinions on the matter and yes I've seen the LTT guild on how to paint the graphics card, both of them Cards in question: https://us.msi.com/Graphics-card/GeForce-GTX-1080-GAMING-X-8G.html#hero-overview https://us.msi.com/Graphics-card/GeForce-GTX-1080-ARMOR-8G-OC.html#hero-overview
  5. What I meant was how u got your windows, Im fully aware of the differences just wanted to know where, how and how much be it 7,8,10, or vista, etc,,
  6. I was wondering, since I'm starting to build a pc, where did you all get windows? and how much?, version does not matter and I will no judge if its not legit, just curious and it may help me out in my build.
  7. No offense, but I'm may need more reasons than "no they are bad" and "this I'd better"
  8. For a future build I plan to use an i5 4460(3.2ghz) cpu alongside a r9 390 or r9 380x(depending on how well it does). Now Im really just looking for a good quality psu that won't break the bank around 600-650 watts. PSUs I have found, feel free to suggest your own http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-100b10600kr http://pcpartpicker.com/part/thermaltake-power-supply-sp650pcbus http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-110b10750vr http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-power-supply-rs650amaab1us For the rest of the build here it is:http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Pc2GQ7
  9. Ill probably spend a bit more for a 390 thanks guys
  10. I'm just wondering for 1080p gaming will a R9 380 be sufficient, because I may also get a R9 390 so sice the 380 is cheaper will it be able to handle stuff like GTA V in decent settings?
  11. I'm looking for a rather inexpensive motherboard that'll take an i5, around $70-$130 would be fine, doesn't have to be too fancy but WiFi is bonus points for me it just needs to work.
  12. Also would a card that is shorter help or naw like the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121912&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=
  13. Part of what makes the Rvz01 amazing is it's ability to have up to a 13 inch Gpu inside, I was just wondering if I should go with a blower-type card (like a reference card) so the heat can expelled out through the rear panel, or is it ok to go with a open-air cooled card (like twin frozr, direct-cu, etc..) without raising the overall temps of the system too high.
