Well I worked like 20 hours OT then 16 hours holiday pay for thanksgiving and black friday.

Basically a sales rep. Based on my first 2 months I'll make 53-56k next year. Our top reps make much more.

So i just checked my paystub and saw 350 more in my salary paycheck then expected. I guess I forgot that I worked 100 hours plus 16 hours of holiday pay not 80 hours lol. That pays for my 4k monitor!

I have a razor mouse with a 3500 dpi setting. I used to have it at 1800 now 3500 works great!

So I just got this for 449.99 from Newegg and I must say 4k looks absolutely gorgeous! I'm loving it so much! Putting my 970s to use!

When I showed my mom the power consumption she was surprised especially idle around 100w when out microwave uses 1100.

Other than coil whine my supetclocked 970's are great. The 980s all coil whine. They probably run 3-5*C warmer than a g1, but I never touch 80*C on a quiet profIle in sli so it's no biggie!

I didn't overclock the cards. Just using 110% power with a 95*C range and gpu boost 2.0 here is a pic btw:. It never crossed 500w either and that's from the wall the PC is using even less.

So I have 2 970 sc from EVGA pushing 1370MHz each on boost. I ran 3dmark13 4k benchmark with my now i5 running at 4.5GHz and 6 corsair af led fans. I never quite hit 500w from the wall. Mind you I have an evga g1 650w psu which is 80+ gold.

So I just finished me new setup and looking for more. It has 4690k at 4.5ghz asrock extreme 4 board 2x8gb ddr3 1333 (one of the sticks is bad I think) corsair air 540 with extra fans 2 evga sc 970's with backplates evga g1 650w psu crucial mx100 512gb ssd 144p monitor Now my coil whine is audiable passed 100 so I'll presume that Is my cards not the psu. So I'm thinking replacing the ram and maybe snagging a 4790k on sale. Maybe a 4k monitor?
