  1. My budget is mentioned in the original, but its £100 aka $120-$125. That looks interesting, feel like I may be able to get more for the money that I can spend on this, also not convinced about the blackout top and 'front' lettering.
  2. Hey, So I am looking to get a new keyboard, I have had my current one (Corsair Vengence K60) for around 5 odd years now and its time for a new one. I am looking for something that is mechanical, I have red switches at the moment that I quite like and am also considering browns as I spend a lot of time in discord with friends and don't want to go too loud with something like blues. I have looked over amazon, newegg and companies direct sites and the only things that have really caught my eye are out of my price range which is roughly £100 or about $120-$125 (I can stretch a bit further if its especailly good). A brief rundown of the features I would like to have: Mechanical key switches is a must, probably reds but browns if reds are not an option. Full 104 key is also a must, I use the numpad relatively regularly both in games where they are used by mods but also in number entry in excel. I would like to have a usb passthrough, I have come to love the passthrough on my current keyboard and use it more frequently than the other 2.0 ports on my desktop. I enjoy using the volume wheel on the keyboard but rarely if ever the media controls so dedicated volume controls would be nice. A detachable wrist rest would be a bonus as well but not needed. I would love to have wireless, but to my knowledge and from my research this is not practical within the budget (if I had the money to spend I would get the G913 lightspeed). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and if there is any other information that I can give please ask. Thanks in advance for the help.
  3. So I figured out the issue, it was quite stupid and I am not sure how I did not see it, the RAM module was not fully in. Fully working now thankfully. Bit of a stupid thing to happen, just happy nothing majorly wrong. Thanks for the help.
  4. They are too fast to count but at a guess 30-40 then a pause than same again. I put a audio clip if that helps. Voice 003.m4a
  5. Yeah I know the beeping is letting me know there is an issue I was hoping someone would know. FYI when I turn on the cpu fan spins for a bit but then stops
  6. So as I turn on my computer there is a loud beeping coming from some sort of 'thing that is plugged into the motherboard and now there is no output onto monitors and cpu fan not spinning. Help. Image is of the thing that's beeping.
  7. So I kinda fell in love with the surface after playing around with it and am considering buying one in the future, potentially waiting until a new generation come out (we will see), I was wondering if anyone who has one would be able to let me know if something like League of Legends would play decently on this. I have a main computer for gaming but due to the fact that I often travel and cannot take the computer with me I want to be able to play a game like League of Legends (which is what I play most) on the go in a lightweight package. Thanks for anyone with the information
  8. The setting don't 'have' to be ultra, but as of now I have to go low in most games just to get a smooth experience and I would probably go down to high and get some mods that would give beter textures etc, if the 1080ti was a more incremental step up in power compared to the 1080 I would just go with that but it does have a significant advantage especially in higher resolutions or higher refresh rates. I do not have a 4k monitor atm and do not plan on getting one in the near future but do plan on getting a higher refresh rate possibly g-sync monitor. But I will on occasion be using it for 4k stuff as I have access to a 4k screen and will want to use it mainly to just see the beauty haha. I want to have the experience of the high end gming experience as I am not able to take advantage of all that pc gaming offers with current hardware.
  9. Sorry if unclear, I wanted be able to play Ultra presets at 1080p or 1440p with good framerates or be able to play at 4k with lower presets, and the future proof is a general thing about being able to have a good experience on new games with good graphics setting etc in the coming years.
  10. Yeah thats the plan, wait till a drop in price, hopefully soon, but who knows really.
  11. Is it worth it to pay the extra money and go for the GTX 1080 Ti over the regular 1080 card. Specifically when it comes to 4k gaming, and wanting to use Ultra presets in any game and have it pretty future proof.
  12. The reason that I came across this system and had 'sort of' decided on it was due to the fact that every other system with a 1080Ti around the same price or more had a last gen Kaby Lake Intel i7 7700k processor, whereas this one had a Coffee Lake 8700k, which I was confused at and thought if I am spending this much on a system and going for a 1080Ti then why go last gen on the CPU when I can get the crrent gen for the same price. As I have been suggested that the AIO options are expensive and not as good as a air cooler for perfomance (value), I may switch out the H80i for the Noctua NH-U14S Ultra Quiet cooler, also nice to have a specific quiet cooler. CPU coolers are something that I have not paid much attention to, same with PSU's I need to go and do some research and get knowledge. I may wait for a while hoping that the prices go down (soon), for the majority of my gaming being on League of Legends right now due to not being able to run the other titles well enough to play I may be able to survive I am hesitant to build myself due to it being a higher end system and the peace of mind of having a single warranty and reliable tech support if needed by going with a service like this.
  13. I think I may go for the corsair 650w TXm 80 plus gold PSU as have seen quite a lot of feedback about it not being good quality. Whats the issue with the CPU cooler, AIO solution seemed good as a step up from stock with consideration for overclocking, is it the radiator size?
  14. I saw this vid when it came out and checked the site cos MSRP is pretty enticing, they had run out of 1080ti's and not they only have 1060's.
