I tried putting it into a hard drive reader and nothing happened, same thing as now.

I put the windows 7 install disk in it, then it didn't boot into it, so I tried to set the boot order but it came up with the error "No Boot Devices Found" which I think means that it doesn't see the optical drive of HDD as viable boot options.

I have no idea what was the problem, it is all of a sudden detecting the optical drive, I will try to put an OS install disk in it and see what happens.

I just got a disk drive to work, it detected my optical drive. Testing HDD again.

if it is dead then that means that my disk drive, and two hard drives (WB Caviar Black and WD Caviar Green) are all dead...

What do you mean by re-installing the HDD? and I checked, everything is connected properly.

Hello! I have got an ASRock Z97M pro4 motherboard with an Intel pentium G3258 anniversary edition and a Gigabyte R9 270 GPU and when I connect my HDD to the motherboard, it boots strait into the BIOS, and when I check to see if it has detected it, it shows up with "SATA_0: Not Detected" is this supposed to happen, the same thing happens when I connect a optical drive. Please help, as I would love to FINALLY have this computer working.

I am using the ASUS Gryphon Z87 Motherboard and whenever I start it up to set the BIOS settings the DRAM Led flashes after the CPU LED flashes, they simultaneously flashing one after the other with the CPU LED lighting up first followed by the DRAM LED. Please tell me what I have to fix to get it to start up.
