  1. The SSD is really good, but it makes the PC freeze altogether the second it's attached. When disconnected, everything is back to normal again. I can't format it, can't access it in Disc Management in windows as well, because it's frozen until I disconnect it. Tried connecting it to multiple slots, tried a mix of USBC to USB A, and USB A to USB A. Nothing... The weird thing is, that it was working fine for a week, and on any other PC it behaves normal. Just this win 11 one it freezes completely. I successfully tried it on both a WIN 10 & WIN 11 machines. X570 AORUS ULTRA (rev. 1.0) Ryzen 3900X ASUS 3090 64GB RAM @3200 What can I do???
  2. Update: I reverted back to a normal thermal paste, from Noctua. Temps are the same unfortunately. Firstly, there were no improvements on the liquid metal. And secondly, the overall behavior is the same temperature wise. WHAT IS HAPPENING???
  3. My ambient temps are 23-21 all the time with AC always on
  4. I'm really baffled by this issue. Some say their temps are idle at 35-40. Others say it's 55 as well. What gives?
  5. That's the next step certainly. Corsair makes rubbish peripherals. I'm thinking of the Lian Li Galahad 360
  6. Conductonaut for sure. If you apply it correctly (which I really don't know If I did) then no barriers are necessary. Then again, my CPU could just give out. But it's my 3rd run applying it, and so far so good.
  7. As mentioned in the title, my CPU idles at 61C most of the time. When undervolting its idling at 55C. In gaming scenarios, it goes to 84C, but never reaches the 95C thermal limit. It's cooled with an H100i AIO 240". I'm using the Conductonaut liquid metal from Thermal Grizzly, which makes it that much more strange. Now I bought a regular paste from Nuctua to test if maybe the paste is the issue. The stock bios voltage is 1.4 (a bit high I think) @3800Mhz. OC voltage is 1.475 @4450Mhz all cores. Idle temps at 65C (understandable). Undervolting to 1.2V @3500 idle temps are 55C. The room is always air-conditioned. What am I missing???
  8. For some reason, this weird black pixels or rectangles is very persistent and even after I disabled hardware acceleration. Uninstall & re-install is still not working. what gives Microsoft? https://youtu.be/jdTAM_xS4lY
  9. https://youtu.be/ekIP8-I14K8 So I tried to MIGRATE 1TB of data from OnedDrive to Google Drive, and failed spectacularly: I've set the OnedDrive destination folder to be on an external USB 3.0 HDD (4TB). The hope was that the PC app would download the files, I'll unlik it from the PC, and then upload it to Google. Well, after it finished, I unlinked it, but then - this strange error occurred. Is the hard drive dead? Csn I do something to re-enstate it to work again? Also, I see this annoying massage, even after I unindtalled deleted OnedDrive and Google Drive from the PC. Any ideas?
  10. Gigabyte x570 AORUS ULTRA Somehow, after an update, there is no option to enter the bios with a keystroke anymore
  11. hey m8's! I've bought this MB (Gigabyte Aorus Ultra x570), and used 4 sticks of 16gb each to a total amount of 64gb or ram (G.Skill 4x16 @3200 DDR4). only the 2 slots close to the cpu are being recognized (DDR_A1, DDR_A2). the 2 outer slots are not showing up in the bios or windows (DDR_B1, DDR_B2). Also, I'm getting this error message: "pmu memory training error at socket 0 channel 1 dimm 0 & dimm 1" I'm not using xmp, as it is not enabling me to boot, nor am I running it at the intended speed of 3200mhz. it runs on 2133mhz only, and at half capacity. I'd love to get a tip on how to enable them or get any other help. thank you.
  12. I joined the program! Not for the chance to cure cancer and help humanity bla bla.. I just wanna meet Denis!
  13. 2 weeks ago, out of nowhere, my pc got bricked. on startup, I hear the post beep fine, but it gets stuck on the "the ultimate force" welcome screen. I cant get to the BIOS, but it is unresponsive! pressing F5 for default or F7 for advanced settings does nothing!! I tried updating the bios by sticking the usb disk on key with the .cap file. it shoulkd have propted an automatic update - but it didn't do anything. I tried clearing CMOS via the jumper but it also sent me back to the bricked BIOS. then I tried removing the baterry and removing all hardware and only 1 RAM stick. still the same. last thing - I tried formatting to a new installation with a usb, but changing boot priority did not work. still stuck on this splash screen. Also, I see this weird orange led down under the last PCIe lane. nothing in the manual about it. here are some pictures: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ygrj5evqyhqfhfh/AAB0y5BbhqvkVP7_LNXFFUlya?dl=0 what can I do to fix this?? thank you
