  1. Hey, So basically connecting any device to any three of my front panel USB-ports when the PC is already on will cause a complete freeze/occasionally a hard shutdown. Sometimes even touching the metal "housing" of the port will cause this to happen. However, the ports work normally if one of them has something connected to it when starting up the PC. EDIT: Case is the In Win 503 Ideas, anyone?
  2. Unfortunately I don't. I edited th Some OCZ one if I remember correctly
  3. Unfortunately I don't. I edited the OP once again with another little detail. That makes me think could it possibly have something to do with the SSD
  4. Opera did the same without hardware acceleration, so the problem's still there. Oh and btw, I recently updated the BIOS on my GPU.
  5. temps are fine, all drivers are up to date. have also tried stock settings with no luck. thanks for the suggestions tho!
  6. Thanks for the suggestions, gotta check without gpu acceleration on. I have already reinstalled graphics drivers with no luck. Edited my gpu to OP.
  7. My power plan is already set to Balanced, but thanks for the suggestion!
  8. All the parts are around 7 months old. Running windows 10. I have reinstalled windows but even that didn't solve the problem
  9. You should have an advanced settings menu in your BIOS. You can most probably disable Turbo mode / Turbe core / whatever it might be called from there. Personally I wouldn't touch the settings unless I was having problems with temperature as it is only meant to bring up some extra juice out of your machine when needed.
  10. Hello! I have been struggling with weird freezing since assembling my PC. The weirdest thing to me is that basically it doesn't relate to heavy usage or anything, but only occurs when watching videos from a browser. Not a single problem when playing games, editing videos or just casually browsing the web. It usually starts after like 20 minutes of watching videos, first my internet connection goes down, then Windows stops responding, and a minute later the only thing reacting to anything is my cursor. So the outcome is a complete freeze that gets resolved after restarting the computer. I have OC'd my CPU but the same thing keeps happening on stock speed. Specs: MB: M5A97 R2.0 CPU: FX-6300@4.5GHz GPU: MSI GTX-960 4GB RAM: HyperX Fury 2x4GB Storage: 240GB SSD + 1TB HDD PSU: Corsair CS550M OS: Windows 10 Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance! EDIT: I also randomly get the following post-BIOS screen when booting. "The current BIOS setting do not fully support the boot device" This is solved by flipping the power switch from the PSU for a few seconds, a simple reboot won't fix this. I'm doomed with this machine...
  11. Hey! So I have the following problem; I did an update from windows 8.1 to 10 and now my laptop doesn't recognize my external monitor. I have tried HDMI and VGA cables as well as FN+F5 and Windows button+P combinations. Nothing seems to work. The display connector on the motberboard is damaged so there's no way I can just replace the original screen. The lid has been fully detached from the mainframe. Is there anything I can do? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! Computer: Acer V3 571G.
  12. as an addition, the other FN keys work just fine (sleep, wifi etc)
