  1. Hi I am building a new PC rig mainly for editing videos this Holiday and a 5820k would surely make it complete.
  2. Corsair axi 860i... Fully modular PSU. It's also Platinum.
  3. It doesn't really matter motherboard i get, as long as it has the same chipset socket as my CPU and more than 2 pci-express slots just in case i think of doing a SLI/Crossfire config. Other than that, it really depends on the features of the motherboard like the gaming 5 from MSI. The motherboard reaches out to people who aren't going to buy an audio card, and focuses on its on-board audio system, which i think is awesome, but that's me.
  4. check this: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/XDfbyc I changed the PSU to a more reliable one. Its still 700w and still has +80 Bronze. This way, your Psu will last you a couple more years. I also changed the CPU and motherboard. The CPU is now very strong and performs better. This CPU has really nice overclocking capability if you feel like overclocking in the future. The motherboard is not that special, just a regular LGA ll50 motherboard, 2 pci express slots so you can buy a second Gtx 970 for SLI. Since you now have a CPU that draws less power than the Fx 8350, you will have enough power to run 2 Gtx 970 in SLI. 1394 US dollars = 1093 Euros (i think)
  5. May i ask where you plug in your jack? Rear panel or front panel?
  6. One of the biggest problem with SLI to date is how much heat both GPUs will build up in your system, which can damage your hardware in the future. One of the reason to this is because of how large high end GPU's are... Some graphics cards are so large that when configured into sli/crossfire, the top GPU will suffer from the lack of airflow since the fans are facing the back of the 2nd GPU(Especially using atx motherboards). Since you are spending $2000 on your build, i would presume that your getting high end GPU's, Ya? i would look for motherboards with 3 or more graphics card slots if i were you.
  7. The Gaming 7 motherboard is good for its price right now. A motherboard that's cheap for its quality and, in my opinion, classified as a high end motherboard. Though i have to agree with FrosakenLive, Is it really worth the money spending more cash for a high end motherboard? Are you going to benefit from MSI's audio boost? You need to be the one choosing the features that benefit your build.
  8. what i did for my fan config was have the front and top act as the intake and the bottom and back as the outtake.
  9. i don't like sli config but if your going to play 4k with a single card, it aint gonna last.
  10. I do like my x12's since you get a very good clarity of sound and has an amazing Bass that you can adjust with an included amplifier. The cable is VERY long, could be a con to some people but i don't mind.
  11. A1. If you want to save money, go with the AMD CPU's. If u want to have a CPU that is stronger but is more costly, Intel is the way to go. A2. Yes, AMD CPU's and Nvidia Gpu's (or the other way around) will definitely work together. I have a FX-8320 with a Gtx 770 and it work perfectly fine. The only problem with this mix match up is that if you decide to go with an AMD CPU, you will have a slower output video signal with your graphics card to your monitor because of AMD motherboards slower pci-express output. (I barely notice the difference) A3. In my opinion, i would have to go with setup 3 because both nvidia and amd components in the build are good. A4. No errors, i can think of.
