  1. Hi, my friend asked me to build them a PC for them. They are studying architecture at university and need a PC for their studies. They will be using the following programs for their studies, Revit Rhino Adobe Suite AutoCAD I have a budget of around 2000 AUD (1500 USD, 1960 CAD) to work with although this budget is flexible. I also need a monitor as well. As I am a gamer and an Engineering Student I do not know much about these programs and what whether they are CPU intensive or GPU intensive etc... I don't know how much of the budget to allocate to specific parts. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you for taking your time to read this post. Kappa
  2. Rig Name: None CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 RAM: 8gb (2X4GB) DDR3 1600MHz Score: 6.7
  3. I have a corsair 650W non modular power supply (Corsair VS650)
  4. Im running a gigabyte gtx 970. My gpu will underclock when its in desktop and simple games too. But this happens in 3D games and results in me getting big frames drops for 2-5 seconds usually before it returns to normal.
  5. Hi guys first time posting, so I currently have a problem I think with my computer. I have a intel core i5 4460 and a gigabyte gtx 970 (not G1). I noticed that in games I would get get random frame drops (from 90-100 to around 20-30). When I looked at GPU Z i noticed that while in game, I would notice my Core clock speed and memory clock randomly drop down to 200-400 MHz. I was not overclocking. Is this normal or is something wrong with my setup (Im new to PC Master race, built my PC but dont know much about this sort of stuff). Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you
