    SATA 1 = 1.5Gb/s.= 187.5MB/s
    SATA 2 = 3Gb/s = 375MB/s
    SATA 3 = 6Gb/s = 750MB/s.
     
    8 bits = 1 byte,
     
    But anyways, yeah I realized that, a modern ssd would definitely max out a sata 2 port, though will still be faster than a traditional HDD.
