I would rebuild my gaming pc and replace the AMD and mobo.. What am I don't... I would build another from scratch. GTX graphics, Asus mobo.
-
After seeing this build I looked into a kit. I thought this would be a cool idea as part of a school STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). I hope this trolling issue gets squashed and they can continue to make a great product.

But again with an upgrade, I want to make sure that I see an increase in the video, and if I am not going to see that within a reasonable budget I would don't think I would upgrade at this point.
-
Budget is ... Really unknown at this point. I know I would NEVER spend $1,000 on a card. I only spent $100 on this card, and would consider maybe a couple hundred (300 + ish).

.... 600 ft?!?!? Look up your PSU from the maker and find out how much you need. My EVGA 600B only needed a little over 100 feet of cord, and you always want to include some extra for mess ups. But also on another note. When you go to sleeve your 4 pin molex you are going to need to remove the terminal to properly sleeve both cords. So you will need a replacement terminal for this.
-
Sry for the long reply, but this is what I bought http://www.ebay.com/itm/Computer-4Pin-Molex-3Pin-Fan-20-24Pin-ATX-Power-Connector-6pin-8Pin-Remover-/380729261992?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item58a53b7fa8 On a side note.. Make sure to have or but (Just in case) extra terminals. I ran into this problem when I went to remove a cord and the wire slid out of the terminal. Problem was the terminal got stuck in the clip. So I had to buy a crimper, and teminals to replace to old.

Okay I have said it before, but I will say it again. I am still getting used to PC's and building, along with trying to understand every little thing that goes along with all of this. I often see on Linus's videos that he crossfires cards. I think that I understand that this helps with the processing of the video from the system to the monitor, but here is my question. If I take a so so (Mid to lower) video card and crossfire them, how if any will this help? Am I better trying to upgrade (Of course this is an obvious option because there are much better cards on the market), but how much would I need to upgrade to see a drastic performance upgrade. My current PC specs. CPU: AMD FX 8320 Motherboard: Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 RAM: ... Perfer not to say yet.. GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 6970 (X1) Case: Rosewill Patriot Storage: 4.5 Tb HHD & 128 Gb SSD PSU: Evga 600B Display(s): Hp S2031 x2 (Considering a 3rd for gaming surround) Cooling Corsair: H60 for PCU, 4 120 mm Case fans

The EDG750! Why: I built my pc in a blue scheme, and this red edge PSU and what I could see as some red lights and fans would make a great pc build with some awesome looks. ... wish I would of gone red...

Not that difficult, but patience is a must! I have little and thus far I am doing okay sleeving my psu. And it isn't as hard as some may make seem.. until something goes wrong.. like breaking a pin... lol

EBay sells a tool kit for $15 US, but should convert and ship to the UK. It has the molex, atx and Sata pin removers. As far as wrap. You can go with a plastic braid, but you often see through these and in my opinion are a waste of $... Go paracord. 550 and you can find that to on EBay. I just bought over 250ft for under $25 US. Paracord you can go with heat shrink method or no heat shrink. I like the look of no heat shrink, but it is a little more time consuming on putting it together.

You can pm me if you have questions. I might be able to help walk you through the process, but the YouTube videos out there are great

I am doing a psu sleeve job right now, and I can say that it's not that hard, just time consuming. I bought 550 paracord off eBay for under $10 for 100 ft. And a set of tools for $15. In all I spent under $40. (I did go over board on the cord though...just in case) I am going with a heat shrink-less method, and it looks great. A couple oops moments so far, like cutting a cord just right.. Just to melt the end and watch it shrink up on you.... But still. On a newbie scale. I would give this a 3 on being hardness.

WHAT DO I LIKE!? It would make my Radeon 6970 look like a matchbox car versus a semi. The only thing it needs is.. well it needs more cow bell...

Thanks for the second look. I just know there is so much to take into consideration when doing your own build. I didn't want to jump into the build and find out it was all wrong.
