  1. FX-6300 already clocks up to 4.0GHz on turbo boost. It's best to overclock the turbo that way your only have the extra power when you need it and not 24/7.
  2. Overclocking does reduce the life span of your CPU. Now remember, when you OC the boost, it isn't at 4.5GHz all the time, only under load. Will it cause your CPU to die within a year? No, but if it's expected life span was 10 years, you may lose close to a full year, depending on how much you hammer it.
  3. They fixed it now that it's released.
  4. HD 7870 LE VS HD 7950 Not binned as well as an HD 7950, uses the Tahiti architecture IE 7900 series PCB, has fast clocks 1000MHz core/1500MHz memory, only thing is, it has 2GB Vram and 256bit bus. In most games is close to an HD 7950 and beats a GTX 660 ti.
  5. Yuengling, PA REPRESENT!!!!
  6. Current HD 7950 Vapor-x despite having an HD 7970 PCB and dual 8-pin power connectors, is voltage locked at 1.3V, so it won't go much past 1000/1400 OC.

    Ocz

OCZ had a monopoly in the market of SSD's for awhile. At one point, 70% of SSD's consumers owned were OCZ. Now, OCZ's SSD's weren't the most reliable, but because they had such a large share of the market, the failure rate was over dramatized. That being said, the 4 series and Vector are not only fast, but they have amazing quality especially compared to the 1, 2 and 3 series.
  8. Is this a troll post? Previously you need 1/2 amp on the 12V rail, now it's 1/20 of an amp??? I am lost here EDIT: Haswell is 84W not 95W?
  9. What is the stock voltage of ivy bridge? Maybe my CPU is set to auto, but I usually hover around 1.3-1.34V on my I7-2600K @ 4.5GHz.
  10. Should be a poll IMO. But honestly, with steam, Battle.net and Origin (please don't ban me for saying Origin), It's so much easier just going online and re-downloading everything rather than keeping track of CD's.
  11. Well, I would presume that the base price and the price of the unit they used and described was 1299.99 that the link would also show 1299.99. I know of upgrades, but to me the video says this is our special PC and this model is 1299.99.
  12. He should be fired for that language. Because we all know firing slick gets alot accomplished.
  13. According to the video it says base model as described is 1299.99, which is a GREAT deal, but on the site here: http://us.ncix.com/products/?sku=83119&promoid=1146 It says 1,573.92. Which is 300-400 dollars more than cost of parts here: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Tqrw and almost 300 more than stated value.
  14. Idle temp for an I7-3770 at stock speeds with decent airflow shouldn't be 55*C, I have 2 here running about 35-40*C, a solid 10-15*C hotter than SB. The one with the stock cooler hits 70-75*C under full load, but the one with a basic cooler master cooler runs about 55-65*C under load.
