how do you get then in canada. i tried eluktronics. i dont think they ship to canda. i like the laptops with no branding. eluktronics have that option.

linus. after you you run the boisital agent through the system try a solution of 50% viniger and water to help clean out the water blocks and radiators. it will help to break down the residue in the water blocks and rads, viniger wont be as corrosive to your water blocks/rads. after you run the viniger completely through and if there is still gungk in the system let the viniger sit in the system for over night through the system, then completely fush the system through again with the viniger/water solution. it should help in cleaning out the system without taking it apart. you could use the viniger solution again and again just remember to filter out the solution after every pass through, a simple coffee filter should do the trick. after its all cleaned out flush out the system completely with fresh water it should help and it wont damage any you your water block/rads and pumps seals. you should also try arranging the pumps in a push/pull config. one pumps pushes the water through the system and the second one pulling water out of the system. the more powerful pump should be push water into the system. it might help. no harm in giving it a try.

so i bought a new 6tb hdd but i think my pc is to old to support it, because when i format my hdd it only showing me 1.5tb hdd, even though i will only be using it as a storage device. i was thinking if i installed a pci sata card will this allow me to use my new hdd, and get me the full capacity of the hdd. my pc is and old 1156 ,and the hdd is the wd red 6tb. i considering that my pc is just to old to support such a large drive, im hope the pci sata card will do the trick.

im already at disk managaement, and the volume is set to gpt. i will be using the disk only as storage.

when i installed/formatted new hdd its only showing me 1.5tb instead of the full 6tb. i had a wd red6tb hdd. how do i fix it so i could see the whole capacity of hdd.

im trying to transfer file from my old hdd onto my new hdd. yesterday when it encountered corrupt files i stopped the transfer and when i did i was not able to go in and open up the new hdd cause it said that whole drive is corrutped. i ended up losing all thoughs files, now the same thing has happend again with the secound set of file and im trying to find a way to salavge my data. so i could return the drive. my main concern is getiing my data off the disk

if you didnt know the answer then just say so in the first place. when he answered my question by pointing out the bleeding obvious to me he was being sacastic, plain and simple, being sacastic is not helping no one. then on top of it you want to complain about being rude. put youself in my shows i have a verying big problem and some one answers my question by pointing out the obvious and not really giving me any real help. i know it might have come off as rude but no answered my question on how i would be able to get get my data back. all they seem to be focusing on is the fact that the data was corrupt. thats not helping me on getting or accesing my hdd so i could get to my data. you were the only person with an upfront answer, and even though you could not help me out i thank you for not pointing out the obvious, and for actually giving a real answer.

are you retarted how is that helpin me out right now. at this moment i have a hdd full of files that i could loose and all he had to say was dont copy corrupt files

so i just bought a new wd red 6tb hdd, and im in the the middle of transfering all my files onto the new hdd. but when it reaches to some files that are corrupt it stops transfering my file and it wont allow me access to the hdd at all. this has happened to me before (yesterday on the same drive) and i lost everything. how do i fix this so i dont loose any more of my data i also tried running checkdisk through command prompt but it says my hdd is raw and checkdisk dosnt support it. what do i do im lost.

i will be using it more as a media server. i want to be able to stream it to any device. i like what i see on amahi. but there support just sucks

microsoft no longer supports home server, it was my first choice

i been looking into building a home server for a bit now, but im not sure about the which os i should use. i found amahi. i like it cause it has greyhole (diskpooling), which i could organise it by different folders and not just hdd. i just want to know what you guy think of amahi, and are there any alternatives to amahi, that also use greyhole. there site sucks cause there is only a bunch of screen shots and no demos and no real vids on actually using amahi, and there isnt much on youtube either. so i cant really get a feeel of it. any help, any thoughts?
