your title is never win10. but now win7 is EOL and win8 is actually useless. what are you going to do? Linux?

    Only my gaming PC is still on Win7 at this point (with Linux Mint in dual boot), the rest is completely on Linux and I'm pretty pleased with that.

    Nah, I'm not too worried.  I'm not doing anything dangerous with that PC.  Haven't had a virus in the last ... ooh ... decade or so. 

    When Win7 goes EoL I will simply remove the Windows partition.  At that point I'll be completely on Linux.
