Hi I just bought corsair h60 old one and in packet it says compatible with lga 1150 1155 1156 1366 2011 No 1151. I think 1151 was not there at the time of production of this h60 but will it work with my 1151 gigabye motherboard?

Not sure if I can overclock my 8700K
Abeed replied to Abeed's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Thanks for the reply guys! Looks like I need Z series boards then. I found this Gigabyte for $100~ on Amazon. Should I be good with this? Motherboard - GIGABYTE Z370P D3 Also Im getting Corsair LPX 3000Mhz. Will it run at advertised speed on that motherboard? Can I overclock that? Here is rest of my build if interested: GPU - 980ti (already bought) PSU - CXM 750 (already bought) SSD - 970 EVO 500GB CPU: i7 8700k Cooler: H60 HDD - 3TB WD RED (already have) -
Heres what I'm considering with the build, Motherboard: GIGABYTE B360M DS3H CPU: i7 8700k Cooler: H60 I really would like to overclock my processor with this motherboard. Can I do it? If the answer is no, this motherboard is $67 on Amazon. Could you suggest me a motherboard under $90 that can overclock? Thanks.

Hey whatsup guys, posting after a long time. MY PC: - i7 6700HQ - GTX 960M - 16GB 2133MHz DDR4 - 500GB Samsung 951 - Windows 10 Soo its a dell xps 15 4k touch. so far so good. needing time to get used to. having few problems too. on windows 10 there is a box thing that comes up when I grab any window with finger or mouse (will provide pic if possible) I WANT IT GONE!! its annoying lol. any help? THANKS!

Heavy After effects and Premiere Pro Editing. Yes thats why I chose seidon 120V Plus. I can put it on the back and not the top so memory shouldnt be a problem.

70$ or 80$ I wont overclock so single radiator should be enough.. and thats an i7 4790k
-
okay guys! So im buying a 4790k!!! But my Cooling is pretty shitty right now. Spec, Case - CS SPEC 01 PSU - CS CX500 RAM - CS Vengence 8x2 1600MHz Monitor - 1080p Mobo - MSI B85M-P33 GPU - Dont laugh, AMD 5450. I got it from my friend until i get a 960 Now I only have a fan infront of the CPU which CS includes and no fan in the back. But CS does have mounts on top for a dual fan radiator where I can put up a regular fan to keep my other stuff cool. For CPU I want to go with this Seidon 120V Plus which will go on the back and for the spare fan I want to go with the CM SickleFlow X. I am in a budget here so let me know if my choices are good and if it will fit and work with my rig and also this is just a temporary build im making until I go to US. Thanks PS. It is a workstation so dont talk about having more RAM. I actually need more.

How about gaming with this earphone - http://goo.gl/LsxoID or This headphone - http://goo.gl/bi7Zp6 I know the earphone is more expensive than the headphone but anybody have any experiance with those or any similar devices.. please make it in 40$

So I am building my new rig. Specs here: CPU: Intel core i3 4150 GPU: GTX 750ti SC RAM: 8GB 1333MHz Mobo: MSI H81M-E35 PSU: 430W Corsair 80+ But the is the Power Supply necessary? I mean I am going to upgrade this machine to i7 and GTX something or AMD after a while and I am pretty sure I have to replace the PSU but having an i3 and 750Ti with no external power, is a good power supply needed? If I buy a case I get a 400W normal power supply with it which is not stable as much as the corsair but.. im thinking the normal one should work. only 1 HDD will be used and 1 DVD drive.

So yeah. Stupid question but I see him rocking with a dell laptop but which one though?
-
Going with EVGA because there Isn't that much performance difference for 20$ more and also ENGA doesn't require external power which is great for power. But I saw some rumors telling that the motherboard should support something called UEFI or something. Can you please tell me more about what it needs to power up and get running.

So I'm building my new rig and I was confused about which graphics should I get (750Ti). So here is my build: CPU: Intel core i3 4150 GPU: GTX 750ti (xx) RAM: 8GB 1333MHz Mobo: MSI H81M-E34 PSU: 430W Corsair 80+ Which card should I get. Note: I can't afford these - FTW, Gigabyte & ASUS Choises are - EVGA SC, MSI Twin Frozr... more if you get any

So i'm building my new build and a tittle bit confused about it. So heres the build: CPU: Intel core i3 4150 GPU: GTX 750ti ASUS RAM: 8GB 1333MHz Mobo: MSI H81M-E34 PSU: 430W Corsair 80+ I posted a previous thread trying to know about gaming with this rig and i guess it should handle skyrim at medium quite nicely. Now the main problem arrives. I'm also a youtuber and will do some basic tutorials, gaming videos and by the word basic i mean really "BASIC" Well now the problem is my Processor which is an i3!!!! so how is it gonna handle editing. Not 3d to be clear.
