  1. This was really helpful, thanks. I was hoping to find something on the VRM but I think I'm flying blind here. Regardless it looks like to me the Gaming Pro is a cheaper Gaming Plus with no bling. I'll take that.
  2. Hmm, might indicate that the difference is more than just some heat-sinks and RGB tacked on, I was kinda hoping the Pro was just the Pro-Carbon sans flashy, it's a lot cheaper over here..
  3. https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/X470-GAMING-PRO/Specification https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/X470-GAMING-PRO-CARBON-AC/Specification https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/X470-GAMING-PLUS/Specification I have, and the spec lists aren't wonderfully descriptive. I was wondering if there was a difference in OC performance you guys might know about. Buildzoid did a good breakdown of the Gaming Plus but not the other two. In fact reliable information I can find on the Gaming Pro non-carbon is pretty sparse.
  4. Seriously, I can't find it anywhere. The naming convention is so bad guys. Is it just RGB and faceplates? Edit: Also what about the Gaming Plus? ...Lord....
  5. I was on default before this I think, and stable. Either way, I've reset CMOS
  6. No luck. Interestingly my fanless heatsink isn't getting hot. I wonder if any power is going to the CPU?
  7. My B350's always taken a while to start up, however after my PC went into sleep mode after being alone I was unable to wake it. I restarted the PC and it wouldn't post. It turns on and all fans spin, but the troubleshooting LED remains on and the PC never posts. I have since : Flushed the power Disconnected and reconnected the PSU Unplugged everything from the PC Plugged a keyboard back in, and a monitor. Re-seated the CPU Re-seated the RAM Re-seated my GPU Re-seated CMOS battery Shorted the CMOS pins Disconnected all of my fans and rebooted I have absolutely no money and work to do so I'm a little panicked here. Does anybody have any suggestions or extra troubleshooting steps to take? Thanks. Tadgh.
  8. Some of the sample footage I've seen is absolutely beautiful, it's definitely still on my list
  9. This looks like a really solid suggestion, thank you for this, it's on the list.
  10. XR is well out of my price range unfortunately, but that is good to know. Thank you for the response
  11. Hi Guys, I need to purchase some video cameras. I'm a pretty accomplished editor but have never bought a camera before. The content I'll be shooting will be video courses for an online course provider, and some more miscellaneous content which will require the ability to shoot on the go. I don't mind bulk but would like an articulated screen. Sadly, we've got about 700 for the camera. I'm not really sure what my options are. 3 questions I'd really like answered: 1) I am considering buying a phone shooting on that instead. Am I perhaps an idiot? Camera technology in phones seems to be a great price to performance proposition. 2) I normally work with 4K footage, but shooting in 4K seems to come at a price premium - is it worth it? A nicer 1080p camera might be fine but I'm reluctant to go back. 3) Are there any obvious camera recommendations for my situation? What variety of camera should I be looking for? Thanks, much love, Tadgh.
