  1. I have had the same problem on my Acer Aspire E5, I still have no idea why.
  2. I have tried reseating the RAM. I haven't done anything with the motherboard.
  3. I have an Acer Aspire E5-511-P2D6 that worked fine until I opened it up and swapped Harddrives in it. Now whenever I turn it on it won't stop restarting, much like in this video I have tried multiple HDD's and SSD's and the problem persists.
  4. I have the 29UM65 and it is a great monitor, I would go for the ultrawide myself. And this is a great monitor to do this with, great colours great resolution and it's not hard to drive.

    Monitor?

I would recommend the LG 29UM65, the 21:9 aspect ratio is great for gaming(this is just in my opinion) and the panel is just a really good panel in general at 29 inch 2560 X 1080. I'm not sure what the prices for you would be for you, but I was able to get mine for $320 Canadian at Staples Canada. I also have a 970 and it drives this monitor with ease.
  6. I'll be sure to submit my 970 overclocks soon.
  7. I have a GTX 970, 12 GB's RAM, and a Core I5 3350p. I just installed FSX and knowing it was made in 2005 I'm really suprised I can't max it out? Perhaps I am missing some updates? I am installing it straight off the disk so I could be missing some. You think that a computer that has parts that came out 10 years after release should be able to max out the game. Any explanations or suggestions are appreciated.
  8. I did my own case mod even today, got out the Dremel, cut my own fan hole, and spray painted it black.
  9. You could also get a fan controller or undervolt your case fans.
  10. I would either get a new case, replace the case fans in your current case, and bring down that CPU overclock a bit depending on how good your cooler is. I'm not sure whether or not you have a reference cooler for your 280x or not but if you do you could put your GPU into quiet mode at the cost of performance.
  11. If you are running Windows 7 the bottom line will not appear on any second monitor, if you want better mulit-monitor support, you will have to upgrade to Windows 8.1 or 10.
