  1. I'm playing MW II and only get around 60FPS. Thinking that the CPU is the bottleneck
  2. Budget (including currency): DKK 5000 Country: Denmark Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming FPS @1440P I need to upgrade my PC. I'v got an RTX3080 which I'm keeping. I also got 32GB DDR4 3200mhz ram which I could keep. Out is my Asus B450-e Gaming motherboared and the AMD Ryzen 5 2600x CPU. I don't stream or render videos. PC is for browsing and gaming. I usually upgrade MB, CPU & Ram on a different cycle from GPU. So I'm NOT looking for something "upgradeable" along the way. So, do I go for Intel 12/13th gen or Ryzen 5000/7000? I prefer Intel over AMD. Have you recently been in the same situation and what did you choose? Or are you just reallly updated on which is the best choice for me with my use case?
  3. Hey I'm looking for some advice on choosing a new phone. Where I live (Denmark) the prices are like this: Pixel 5 - 6150 DKK 8 PRO - 5000 DKK Xperia 5 II - 4200 DKK I'm coming from the Pixel 2 XL which I love. Great phone, great camera, great battery life. Never had any problems with it. So my usage is like this. I take pictures, I browse social media, I message a lot, I track sports and use my phone for controlling my smart home. No gaming What would you choose and why. Info added later: I use a bluetooth headset, I don't need extra storage (micros sd), I never use a case for my phone - (after 5 comments I count: 2½ votes for the Pixel, 1 for the Sony and ½ for the OnePlus )
  4. Before you buy. Note that AMD processors have RAM compatibility issues. WHY is that even a thing in 2019?? So beware of buying an AMD processor. You can't just buy RAM, you have to find some ram that is compatible with your motherboard.
  5. Hi, I had the same dilemma a while ago. So about a month ago I went for the 1440p. I'm very happy I did so. The resolution i awesome for coding. In Visual Studio I can have two documents open side by side with the solution Explorer (File overview) as well. This is absolutely cool. Photo editing is also great. So gaming in 1440p is also great. I have a GTX 780 and run COD in over 60fps. Also BF4 in over 60fps. If you do a lot more gaming than Photo editing, I think I would go for the 21:9 with an IPS panel. But if you do serious Photo editing I would recommend the 1440p with a good panel (NOT TN). 1440p is also great for having 2 web pages open at the same time or a browser and some other program. No matter which monitor you buy I think you will be happy with it. I bought the Asus PB278QR - Fantastic monitor.

  7. UPDATE: I ended up buying the ASUS PB278QR. That is a really nice monitor.
  8. Thanks for pointing to the pinned FAQ. That was a good explanation. I wont look into buying a 4k monitor anytime soon :-)
  9. Hi I'm looking at the Samsung U28D590D monitor. I have a GTX 780 and I play FPS games. My question is: Is the monitor any good for gaming in 1920x1080? I know it's a 4k monitor and that monitors should be used in their native mode. I plan on using the 4K for a bit of Photo editing and coding. I dont wan't a 1080p 144hz monitor. I wan't the high resolution and have also looked at 1440p monitors. SneakyFox
  10. hmmm, can't decide on which new monitor to get??? 25", 27" or 32" 1440p?

  11. Hi Did you decide on a 27" monitor? And if so, which one did you pick?
  12. Hi Does anyone else have an opinion about the two monitors? And /or about resolution 2560x1440 vs. 2560x1080
  13. I like the 34" 21:9, but they are still too expensive. Still ca. DKK 6000 So, do you like the 27" 2560x1440 ? As far as I am able to tell, the main difference between PB278Q (PLS) and PB278QR (IPS) are the lcd panel.
  14. Merry christmas to all I'm looking to get a bigger monitor. Currently I have a Dell U2412M (1920x1200) IPS monitor. I live in denmark and here the two monitors are the same price. Monitor is to be used for Surfing, Gaming (FPS), YouTube and movie watching, coding and Image editing So do I go 32" or 27"? - Or do I go 21:9 (2560x1080) ASUS PB278QR: https://www.dustinhome.dk/product/5010807857/pb278qr Samsung S32D850: https://www.dustinhome.dk/product/5010804044/sd850-series-s32d850t SneakyFox
