Hi, I need new speakers for my pc and chose to go the full custom rout and get an amp two passive speakers and a sub. I have a 200$ish budget. So right now what i was planning to get a Leipai 2020a amp, a dayton 8inch sub and a pair of micca MB42 because of their small size. My issue is that I can't find a place in Canada to sells them for a decent price. And now I don't know which passive speakers I should get. So what are the best bookshelf speakers I can get that are around the size of the Miccas or smaller and perfom just as well or better, where can I buy them for a resonable price. Btw if you think I should make any change in my setup don't hesitate to mention it. Thanks for your time.

I think I'll get a WD passport they seem quite nice. Althought will it work on both mac and pc? Is it jsut the format that determines this? Or do i need to get a special type of hard drive? SSDs are too epxansive. Any other recommendations?

Thanks for your answers. What do you think of the Ativ book from samsung and the Acer Aspire? The alienware is too big and expensive for what it gives. The graphic card would be overkill. Hmmm. It doesn't really cost effecient nah? A touch screen would be nice at that price and my mother doesn't trust ebay for expansive purchases Yeah nice find. Hi, I'm looking for an ultrabook for my mother. I dispose of around 1000-1200$ to spend. All she does is watching movie (displaying on a 1080p television), storing pictures and basic editing. So an I5, 8gb of ram and 500Gb of ssd storage should be enough right? Tactile ips screen if possible at least 1080p. I need a realllyyyy good quality build. It has to be sturdy, light and small (11-13 inch). If possible quiet and a good battery life. So basically, a high end like build ultrabook but mid end perfs. Recommendations? We have already tried the lenovo pro 3 but she didn't like it because she thought it was to fragile. Thanks for your help in advance and have a great day.

I tried to run it from my laptop with a VGA cable at 120hz. Its running an Nvidia card. So I don't think the cable nor the driver is the problem. I'm gonna try get a display port cable tomorow.

It is a big problem. But i would like to try to solve that by myself unless there's no way I can.

Actually it's not really double Image artifact. It feels like the pictures is making quick jump foward and backward. Like if it was alterning betweens two shifted frames of the same image. Do you guys understand what I'm talking about?

Hi, I have my monitor for a couple of months now. I'm running it with a HD 6850. I have the proper driver, it's not running in PNG, i have the firmwire V2 and I'm using a DVI cable. My issue is that I have the feeling that my monitor is overlapping two frames and shifted from a few millimeters. It doesn't feel fluid at all. Do I have a bad unit? Should I RMA? And how is BenQ's custumer support?

Too late to buy a blue motherboard. I already purcahsed my Asus VI Formula. I was planning to use plastic wrap to cover up most of the board and cut holes around where the slots are and seal with tape. Wouldn't that be easier and better? And why use plasti dip instead of a regular paint? Doesn't it risk to peel off when I plug or unplug something? I could use cardboard inserts to prevent from going into the contacts.

I think you should use a regular watercooling block. It will be way easier. I can't see how you will submerge this heatsink into water.
