GTX 980: MSI gaming 4g or gigabyte Windforce 3x OC?
Nishizumi replied to NetflixandChio's topic in Graphics Cards
well not really. all cards have some sort of droop but the cooler isnt gargantuan like a Tri-X cooler so i shouldnt matter too much. -
I mean I don't know what you want to spend your $15 on, so I guess you could buy yourself a meal or two at In-N-Out.
-
Steelseries Rival! I'm still waiting for the 700 but otherwise one of the best mice ive held.

What is the best reasonable priced gaming laptop
Nishizumi replied to Biscuit343's topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
You really aren't going to have a good experience with a $300-400 laptop. There's a sweet spot for these things, and that budget isn't going to net you an experience that much more different from what you have now. -
Rig Name: Companion Cube v.2.3 CPU: i7-6700k RAM: 16GB DDR4-2133 GPU: 2x R9 Fury (Crossfire disabled for the test) Score: 8.4 No overclocks in place (I'll add to this once I put new overclocks into place) EDIT: Rough overclocks now in in place. 6700k at 4.7 GHz R9 Fury at 1100 MHz core, no OC on HBM. I'll see if I can push it a little more...

Yay fanboyism! I don't know how to do more fanboyism

I have no idea if there's gonna be a P55 v5 anytime soon, but this is slightly over $1,000 USD, and with the extra money get yourself some extra gear. http://www.amazon.com/GIGABYTE-P55W-BW1-Broadwell-i7-5700HQ-Computer/dp/B00ZV7FUK2/ref=sr_1_sc_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1452649397&sr=8-2-spell&keywords=Gigabytre+P55k My friend has one of these and he looks like he hasn't had any trouble with them.
-
Yea I could see that it seems a bit risky. But I don't have any high hopes for them. What I'm looking at is Cloud9 and Immortals (especially these guys with that roster).
-
Well there is the R9 Fury Nitro that is on for $499 USD. I've seen some reviews that got the card to 1100+ MHz on the core and nothing on the HBM. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202187&cm_re=R9_Fury-_-14-202-187-_-Product

Took my computer out of the case now it wont turn on
Nishizumi replied to WhiteWolf117's topic in Troubleshooting
The coating on the outside of that bag is conductive, only the inside is anti static. The 8 Pin. -
That's true as well. I think you could wear a headset over it. The band doesn't look like its fat enough to interfere with one. Still, I am planning on getting one. I have a gut feeling that something good is on its way and I would regretting not being able to experience it. (RIP my $600 )

I think they could cut the costs down if they didn't include the extra Xbox One controller. Some of us already have spare controllers so they should at least give us to option of buying on without it.

Oh, this a perfect topic to mention Awesome Hardware's sleeper build. He just kept the case and replaced everything else. It could save you something, who knows.
