Hey y'all So I've been trying make a cool EGPU setup for my L420 but I can't seem to get this 1050 ti to work. I have this expresscard to pcie adapter: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZI33QLY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and I've been testing it with a GT 720 which has worked fine (i had to edit the DSDT to get it to work though). I though it may not have enough power, but i've tried 2 different psu's so that might not be the issue. I think it may be the drivers, but I've tried wiping with DDU and reinstalling but that doesn't seem to work either. And i thought i'd add im using the built in display for all of this and have only tried the 1050ti with a monitor once. All help is very much appreciated!

Hey guys, so i am looking for some iems with a good soundstage and thats pretty much my only requirement. I have around $220 (I REALLY dont want to spend that much unless i have to, around $100 would be more preferable). I've had the Se215's before, and while they sounded good, they didn't really have a sound stage. Then after rewatching Linus' review of the Sennheiser IE 80's i thought they would be a perfect choice (except for the price). Open to all suggestions, thanks! '

Trying to install Windows Via Serva through Network PXE. I have triple checked all of my settings are correct and after it starts to connect, i get a black screen right before it is supposed to let me chose an os to install. Trying to reinstall windows 10, usb wont show up. I've tried different usb's and various settings. Gonna load optimized defaults now and see if you guys can help me out. Thanks!

My laptop's display? I was talking to the dude I bought it from and he said that he had to use a different monitor with it and his 750 ti

I just found a deal on HWS for an expresscard to pcie graphics card dock for $25. I was wondering if there was a way for me to use the laptop's display (I have a lenovo L420) while I have a gpu plugged in. I was thinking that I could get a usb adapter that would allow me to plug the graphics card back into my laptop. Not really sure and I am open to suggestions. Not 100% on the gpu yet, trying to look for good deals just so you know.

I've tried cloning my old hdd to an ssd many times for my mom's laptop. When I am able to boot into windows it "prepares my desktop" and there is a blank desktop. I am able to start explorer.exe but i can't do anything from there. I think that the recovery partition letter got switched or something during cloning put im not sure. (this was an hp laptop that had a recovery parition and 2? other partitions besides windows 7). BTW the last cloning thing i used was macrium reflect, and have tried acronis 2015 and some others.

Hope they aren't knock offs, there are so many out there. Even on Amazon

Yah, i've done that every time it asks and it still doesn't work.

So my friends Macbook won't remember the wifi password. You have to type it in every time. I've tried going into the prefered networks setting and re-typing in the password but that didn't seem to work. I was going to try doing keychain first aid but i dont have that option in the keychain settings. All help is very much appreciated, thanks in advance!
