  1. hey man, i appriciate the help and the power supply is confirmed to be working, doesn't look like this is solvable on our end we have looked at everything we can think of, used different ram sticks, different graphics cards, different PSU, only thing we cant test is CPU or Motherboard using different CPU/Motherboard however both parts were testet OK by the retailer, we have decided to let the retailer do a test with a minimal set up using my parts as make 100% sure we get the problem solved, if you have any more suggestions i would be very gratefull but we have tried everything we can think of, even bringing in a multimeter and testing around with it(here is reddit thread with everything i have tried as well btw and gotten help from someone else with no succes: http://www.reddit.com/r/techsupport/comments/32kbxp/xpost_from_pcmr_cpu_failing_post_when_reset/) again though, even though problem isn't solved i appriciate you coming with suggestions and thank you.
  2. Hello guys i am having technical issues, so i recently recieved my MOBO from RMA and they tested the mobo alright, i did the same for the cpu at an earlier date and before the RMA i had the same issues. Specs: Case: NZXT h440 CPU: AMD FX 8320 @ 3.5GHz GPU: 2x sapphire r9 270 Motherboard: Asus sabertooth 990fx r2.0 BIOS Version: 2501 Storage: (1) Samsung SSD 840 Evo (2) Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 RPM RAM: 8 GB 1333MHz RAM PSU: Cooler Master v850 850 Watt OS: Windows 7 64Bit The things i have tried: Both older and newer BIOS versions(both supporting the cpu) minimal setup with only case buttons, GPU, CPU connected(case buttons is a must as this is where it fails) tested the buttons reversed(so that power acts as reset and vice versa) tested the button on old rig(it worked flawleslly) tried turning off all power saving features tried reseating the cpu tried with my liquid cooler and with the stock cooler Retailer was not able to reproduce the failure however it is easily re-producible on my end. CPU was tested OK by the retailer at earlier date using intel burn in test(i also have the report showing it tested OK) The pc will post most of the time if the power button is pressed but fails every time if reset button is used to reset Power supply is tested and i was able to run stress test flawlessly when the pc went through POST and i ran them in windows. did this: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/42440-readme-how-to-respond-to-a-no-post-or-no-power-up-situation/ any help would be appriciated guys, this is a real pain in the arse for me and i can't just leave it like this as at times sometimes it can take quite a while to even get through post using the normal power button. ps: it is always CPU that fails POST and no other components or anything.
