And if i were to replace the R005 resistor, would it be able to come to life or did it damage the card, because it allowed a lot more power to go through the PCB? i've scoured the internet and they even do this "mod" where they short these out so they can over-clock more.

Hello LTT community, As i was normally playing the PC shut down, first i thought it was just power blackout, but it came back on, but the PC would only try to turn on, but failed after 1 second and it repeated the procces, so i did the normal check-up what would cause this, unplugged the GPU from PCI-E and power and tried my spare GPU ( old from 2008 ) so put the 980ti back in and observed it after i tried to turn on the PC, and from the area where the 8 and 6 pin are beneath the backplace there was little amount of smoke coming from the PCB, so i took it off, examined the PCB itself and i have mostly no idea what i am looking at but seems like R is for resistor or some sort - i am including a picture what might've caused it. If anyone can give me some more info or if it's repairable i would be greatful, and i am ready to give more info. Thanks, Peter. EDIT: The R005 is cracked and the R68 thingy has crack on it after further inspection.

Hi Linus and the group, i am your subscriber for almost 2 years now and i must say - your quality of videos is better and better and i like that you are trying to grow ( implementing WAN show, As fast as possible, unboxings, reviews, ranting about stuff, trying to work with other channels - and i like that you see for example New Egg and Tek Syndicate as your friends - not competition ) First i saw your videos about tweaks and your honest review of products - when you were in NCIX your review relied on how much the product will sell but now? You get your thing, say pros and cons about it and give us your opinion about the product - based on your review i've bought my case NZXT Phantom 530. And i watch every video about everything, even if i don't care about the product, i still find it informative and i can learn stuff. Also i like how you and your group is hiding your hate about consoles in your videos ( for example in As fast as possible - Field of view - the potatoes ) Congratulations on hitting the 1 milion milestone and i will be happy to see you grow more and more, Peter.
