  1. thanks for the recommendations, but I want to get as close to the desired component inclusion before I worry about layout and cooling. I actually am not too worried about cooling because I have good climate controls in my house. And I don't do alot that will be extremely taxing on the system. The games that I play are not very demanding and IT work in general is not very taxing either. I most remote in to other computers and run reports and stuff.
  2. I may still be a noob to this forum but I am not a noob when it comes to computers, networking and IT in general. I have been building computers since 1998 and have been into to networking since 2001.
  3. I may have to try to design my own case. I know that this is not something that should be taken lightly and is more work than I think it is. However, with my ever-expanding knowledge of hardware and networking I have become more and more picky with what I want. I am currently building a new NAS in the silverstone DS380B and while it is almost perfect for my NAS needs, it still has it's issue. ie. cable management. I thought of using this same chassis for my main build and just removing the 3.5" bays but the cable management leaves alot to be desired. I may not ever find what I am looking for and if that is the CASE then I will just stick with my HUGE 750D.
  4. Yes, John I am fully aware that SSDs can be mounted anywhere with the use of adhesives. I am also aware that multiple drives is going to increase volume. Maybe I didn't convey my wants correctly. I am looking for a small form factor case but that does not mean that I am looking for something the size of the Sentry case but I also want something smaller than ie. Corsair Carbide AIR 240. I have scoured through newegg and amazon as well. I have exhausted pretty much most other options before posting here. I was just wondering if someone knew of some new or obscure brand that might fit my needs. As far as I know there is nothing mainstream that I like. Thanks for the recommendations.
  5. I do not want to use adapters. I want dedicated 2.5" drive mounts and at least 4 if not more than that. I want compact and clean being my focus. 3.5 to 2.5 adapters are neither. Thanks for the recommendation though.
  6. I need recommendations for a SFF case that has at least 4 dedicated ssd mounts and NO external drive bays. I have been searching PC Part Picker all day and cannot find something that fits my WANTS. mini-itx or micro-atx but no larger than matx.
  7. I need a new mouse because mine is too heavy. 2nd post accidental.

  10. newegg has 20% off that makes the Noctua the same price as the Corsair. so hmmm. I have a few Corsair SP120's but I like the gray on the Noctua's better. I am probably the only person to ever say that but I do. And I don't want to pay $30 per fan for the higher Noctua's.
  11. 1.2.3. GO! Does anyone have personal experience with either of these fans? or both? I don't want to go off of specs alone. Also, I don't want people to say Noctua for the sake of brand name alone. I want honest educated opinions please. Open Air Flow Scenrio
  12. Thank you all for your time and input. I have my answer and appreciate everyone's enthusiasm. I have never been in to overclocking. I may get in to it one day. I have a very capable system that plays/runs everything that I throw at it. I just love installing new hardware. If anyone is interested in my whole system specs please refer to my profile page. I am looking to completely revamp my system with all new parts and a custom self built case/desk in the near future but as of right now this is all I want. Again, Thank you all.
  13. not sure if you are taking a shot at me or reiterating my point but yes. I know the 9590 is factory overclocked but it requires no additional tuning/tinkering by me. thanks.
