  1. Last time heard the Asus monitor was only in development stage and had no release timeframe. Based on Acer's timeframe we could be looking at 6 months or more for the Asus monitor.
  2. As it is $1300 US it was never going to be $1500 AUS based on out low exchange rate. Just checked and $1300 US is $1761.86 AUS
  3. Acer released information back in April about this monitor with 75hz and now they have upped it to 100hz. I can't see why they won't have it released in 2 months.
  4. You doubt what? Acer had the 100hz version at Computex, it's now been reported by many sites.
  5. No price that I have seen. The version shown was 60hz maybe higher on release. Yes it is IPS. What I read this only in development stage, so I don't think we will see this year.
  6. The Acer XR341CKA is 75hz, this comes from Acer and is meant to be released soon.
  7. Both the Dell and The LG use the same screen. The Dell has a height adjustable stand and the LG does not. I would take the Dell over the LG
  8. If the Acer XR341CKA comes with other connections, not just the single GSYNC DP connection this will be good, now if the question will it be available in Australia.
  9. This monitor has not even been released yet. We wait to see what the actual price is when it released.
  10. The last date I read was August as release date in the US, which means in Australia, we may not get this year.
  11. I can't see how the gsync version is going to be a similar price. With the restriction to 1 input on the gsync version does not work for me as I need to be able to connect my computer and laptop.
  12. I tossing up between the Dell and Samsung. The Samsung costs more but has backlight bleed issues. Playing games like Elite Dangerous and Star Citizen, the backlight bleed might be a annoying.
  13. I read about alot of Backlight bleed and IPS glow issues with the LG and the Dell for that matter. The Samsung is not meant to have the many issues with the Backlight bleeding due to the VA panel.
  14. What about the Dell U3415W, it cheaper than the LG
  15. The Samsung is a VA panel of IPS
