    it says "connection timeout" or packet loss or whatever so i guess it is connection. my ping will be like 9 and perfectly fine and then it just randomly times out, 500ping, for a few seconds and then returns to normal.

    i verified the game and im currently using wifi but dont have issues in any other game. I could try ethernet to see if that fixes it

    Im getting this persistent issue in fortnite where every minute or so, my character stops moving and everything freezes for a few seconds, and then im back and the other players have teleported etc. I dont think its an issue with my PC, maybe a connection issue or something, but I have no idea how to trouble shoot it. I have a 1070 and i5-6600k so i dont think my hardware is the problem but not sure. thanks for any help

    1070 i5-6600k plan on playing most AAA games, + fortnite csgo and other shooters. thought it might help cuz sometimes my frames all over

    Straight up just wanna know what the best option is because I can't find a clear answer. 144 or more hz, gsync, 24inch and 1ms response time. Color accuracy / stand adjustability / all the other factors im clueless on, any recommendations welcome, just want a solid monitor for games but not too much over $400 unless there's a real reason to. thanks for any help

    I completely get what your saying. The problem is every time I want to upgrade to a new card, people say wait for something better to come out. I still have a 760 for that reason and I get what youre saying about VR but I currently have a Vive at home, but not a system that can play it. If a 1070 works fine then i would be happy to save $200.

    The "VR today" worries me a bit just because I want to have a future proof VR setup. There seems so little info on the 1080ti pricing and dates so I would have to choose between the 1080 and 1070. This again seems to be a grey area, some sources say both cards handle VR fine, others say they need every ounce of power for some VR games and the 1080 matters. Not sure if you have any insight, but Im starting to lean towards 1070, any good recommendations for 1070 cards?

    I saw the 1080ti confirmed yesterday but I dont want to wait many months, and I dont want to spend a ton more money, $600 is already pushing it. I would consider downgrading to a 1070 but im hesitant for VR, if it was just 1080/1440 gaming i would buy it for sure.

    I hope to buy one for VR, and from what I've read the extra power of the 1080 is worth $200 over the 1070. As for which 1080, I've looked all over and everyones opinion is different. Even looking at a brand like MSI has like 10 variations, and I'm clueless on how they affect cooling/noise and performance. I'd appreciate someone just telling me what to get, prefer to spend close to $600, just want a solid card. CPU: i5-6600k Ram: 16gb

    Currently have a Zotac GTX 760. Wondering if i should buy another one for $150 and go SLI or buy a 970 for twice the price. IS it worth blowing $150?????? Considering Future proof, Sli issues/optimization?, power consumption? (i dont know...) CPU: i5-6600k

    Main Problem: The built in Mic for my laptop (Hp Omen) barely picks up my voice and i've tried updating drivers through windows/reinstalling it/ messing with sound settings and it hasn't been fixed. Whoops: Then I accidentally uninstalled my audio device (whatever thing was above the Realtek High Definition Audio) and now its gone after rebooting and im not sure how to get that back but i feel like its important. Is there anything i can do besides a system restore?

    So my computers performance has started sucking lately. Some of my parts are somewhat outdated but with a GTX 760 i expect to run most games decently. in space engineers i get 20 or less fps and thats not an intensive game. I think its because my CPU sucks. 3D MARK Scores CPU: Intel Core i5 Processor i5-650 Can someone recommend better cpu for my build if thats the problemo.

    I found so many good deals on mechanical keyboards im having a seizure and i cant decide which one to buy. RAZER RZ03-00384600 Blackwidow Ultimate Logitech G710+ Tt eSPORTS Poseidon Z Cooler Master Quick Fire TK Gaming Keyboard Corsair Vengeance K70 They are close enough in price so its not really an issue. If anyone can recommend one the help would be appreciated. Currently im leaning towards K70, then Cooler Master, then blackwidow, then the other two. but still not sure. Also, i prefer brown switches over blue but dont care that much.

    I went to my documents and game files and deleted all the options settings, but when i reopened the game it still comes back up with a 4:3 resolution. *tried it again and restarted, went into options and changed it to 1080 after just to be sure. when i reopened the game, it was reverted to the 4:3 resolution but when i scrolled over it allowed me selet 1080p finally. not sure why it didnt work the first time but Thanks a lot

    Messed with Nvidia control panel but nothing seemed to work I tried changing Aspect ratio to full screen, enabling "override aspect ratio in games and programs" neither worked thanks for suggestion

    I had an old monitor with 4:3 aspect ratio. Now im using a normal 1080p monitor but I cant change the aspect ratio to widescreen. You can scroll through the resolutions in options, but they are all 4:3. I know this is sort of specific, but quite a few games have this problem for me since I used to play them on 4:3 and theres no easy way to change it. But for some reason with borderlands I cant find anything online or even change it through the options files (I even tried deleting them to restore them to defaults but no luck...) thanks

    Eh its a trade off tho...low price = shitty build but good specs for money (and thin) I wondered for weeks whether it was worth getting the y50 just cus there are so few alternatives, cheap with good specs. but i couldnt get past the screen man. if you find a different 1000 dollar thin gaming laptop with similar specs that doesnt have bad screen and etc PLZ tell me
