  1. Not really, if you consider how long it took for dual core to go to quad core, and quad core only game in recently on new games, I doubt games will take advantage of more threads. I am not a fortune-teller, though, anything is possible.
  2. I know they aren't, but in newer games, 4 cores are taken advantage of, once you get higher, games don't take advantage of it, but you can do more things whilst gaming. Hyperthreading isn't in question of this, i7 only. Your 'scores' are based of single threaded applications, if you used software that takes advantage of all cores, the 8350 will stomp on it. 3rd generation i5s still beat the 8350 in single threaded, but are very close in multi-threaded.
  3. Oh yeah, but even then, for gaming, Hyperthreading will do next to nothing.
  4. If the case has good airflow where the graphics cards are, use an aftermarket cooler (e.g. EVGA ACX 2.0). If the case doesn't have great airflow where the graphics cards are, use a reference style 'blower' cooler. I would recommend two aftermarket cooler graphics cards, as the 760T has great airflow if you keep all of the fans in, and to help, you can buy brackets which go in an un-used PCI slot, then you can mount two fans, so you're blowing air straight into the rear exhaust, which will take all the hot air out. Aftermarket coolers are quieter, faster and they run much cooler if you have good airflow, which the 760T does, though I would still recommend getting one of those PCI brackets. You can also overclock aftermarket graphics cards by quite a bit, so they can run much faster.
  5. The 8350 is easily beaten by 3/4th gen i5s, and the 8350 will blow the G3258 out of the water, it is a dual core processor, the 8350 has 8, the i5 has 4 with hyperthreading... Yeah...
  6. The 4790K is for things like editing, rendering etc. The i5 4690K and the i7 4790K both use hyperthreading and both have 4 cores, the only major difference is that the i7 is faster in the GHz.
  7. Okay, I will get extensions but as I said I will sleeve the switches and fans, thanks mate
  8. Alright, thanks mate, I will sleeve the fan and smaller cable, but I may buy extensions for the USB and audio cables. Thanks for your support though
  9. Hello, I wish to individually sleeve the front IO cables of my Corsair 750D in a red sleeving (http://www.moddiy.com/categories/Cable-Sleeving/Red-High-Density-%28HD%29-Cable-Sleeves/) but I am unsure how to do it, as there aren't many tutorials on individually sleeving front IO cables and I do want to hide all the coloured cables at the end wish heat shrink which I guess also holds the sleeving on. Thanks, - Will. EDIT: I also wish to sleeve the cables on my 3-pin Corsair AF fans.
  10. Alright, I love EK products so that is a bonus I guess, I will check some stuff out, but anyway thanks for helping me man, its really appreciated .
  11. Right, the 2 reservoirs don't matter then, so http://www.watercoolinguk.co.uk/p/XSPC-Laing-DDC-Acetal-Pump-Top-Multiport_753.html and http://www.watercoolinguk.co.uk/p/12V-Laing-DDC-1T-Ultra-18W-wXSPC-V3-Acetal-Pump-Top_755.html would fit on that pump? I am really new to liquid cooling so bear with me :3 EDIT: I found the Swiftech pump without the b, I couldn't find the b type from where I am though, is the standard okay though?
  12. Hello, I am looking at doing a watercooled 750D build, but I am unsure whether I could fit 2x FrozenQ LF Reaction 250mm (http://www.frozenqshop.com/lf-reaction-250mm-cylinder-reservoir) side by side in the marked area in the attached image. Also, I am unsure on what pump to get, I really like this pump (http://www.watercoolinguk.co.uk/p/_7044.html) as I can buy a nice-looking Acetal top for it, and would I need two of them if I did get that one and where would I put it so it could be gravity fed by the reservoirs? My build would be a 30mm 360mm rad and a 80mm 280mm rad for 2x GTX 980 with EK blocks and a 4790K with EK block, you can probably see how much tubing I would need. Thanks, -Arctic. (This is a Sketchup Model just so I can see how things look)
  13. Do you think the measurement in MM on that would be the same as on the others, so I could use it as a reference?
  14. http://www.watercoolinguk.co.uk/cat/Hose-Fittings_39.html If you look at the side, the compression fittings are in MM, e.g. 10/8mm.
  15. Hello all, I am looking at a custom loop, and have chosen 3/8 ID/ 5/7 OD tubing, and all of the things use G 1/4, but on watercoolinguk.co.uk, they use fittings in MM, what MM size would be best? Thanks, -Arctic.
  16. I'm not gonna go on about why I want this and that, I'm just gonna say that I love LinusTechTips, its by far my favorite PC Hardware YouTube channel, and it would be a nice surprise to see that I have won a PC seeing as I am saving for one currently. Thanks, Linus!
