  5. Ohh and how should i plug my old 4 pin conector into my new mobo?
  6. Hi everyone, this is my first topic so "Hi, Linus". I want to apologize for my english, its not my native language. I recently built my first computer. MOBO: Asus z87-pro Wifo GO! CPU: Intel core i5 4670k CPU Cooler: Stock HDD: Western Digital 1Tb Sata blue RAM: DDR3 1866Mhz Gskill CL9 (2x4GB) Psu: Sentey 1000w 80plus Bronze. Case: NZXT Phantom 410 Mid tower. Everything was going just perfect. I built this computer expecting to get a VGA, water cooling and SSD soon. But one day (after a month maybe), i tried to turn on my computer, and BOOM, no result. When i press the power button, The MOBO, CPU, Psu and the fans start running for a few seconds and then they turn off, the computer try to boot again and nothing, and again, and again...When y disconect the psu obviously it stops. Then i managed to make it boot after a few hours and i get the "overclocking failed, please go to the bios and configure..." I went to the bios, default settings (1600mhz RAM) and it boots. I turn off the computer, and again the boot problem. I let it rest for hours and turned it on. same result. It starts, turn off and reset. Then i removed one RAM stick and it started. I put it back and remove the first one, again the problem. Then i put both, boot problem again. I remove the second one, expecting to make the computer to boot like the first time. Problem again. And after that i cannot make it boot again even a single time. I go to Mr Google and i find out that lots of people got problems with Asus z87 mobos. Today i plugged the mobo on my 450W old PSU, i conect the 24pin t the mobo, but i cannot plug the 12v because the old psu doesnt have an 8 pin connector (it has a 4 pin conector). And the computer boots (but i get no video because of the lack of 8 pin conector). And I say "HEY, ITS THE FUCKING PSU!!". But nope, i plug in my NEW psu leaving the 8pin unplugged, and it boots (of course i get no video because i left 12v unplugged) and it works. Its seem to be the Motherboard, but i dont know for real. Plz I need some help, my pc components are still on guarantee. Things i ckecked: No CPU temperatures issue RAMS??? PSU seems to work I updated the bios succesfully Put everything in default (bios) Its seem to be a problem with the 8 pin connector in my MOBO. PLZ HELP ME
