I still like the regular Zotac cooler on their 970. So tiny at 8.5''. I would love it for my SFF build ill be doing in a few months (Just wish their 980 was that small)

But its on sale... to another GPU! Also thanks for the Pump/Res recommendation, it looks good. I think im gonna use a Black Ice Pro II 240mm radiator though, unless i can find noticeable performance increase between this and something else. I found someone else with a "similar" build using one and on the CPU at load (4690k) was around 40c and the GPU at load (r9-280) was around 63c.

Im going to be doing a build in the Hadron Hydro and was looking for advice on watercooling parts to put into the system. I plan to use the Impact VII when it comes out so I put the Impact VI as a placeholder in the link. Im going with the EK-FB M6I - Nickel block for the motherboard but other than that I cant decide on what else. The R9-290 will fit in the case (Powercolor version anyways, its 10.5'' and I plan to mod the front panel so clearance issues should be a problem anyways) and im wanting to also grab a full cover block for it but I cant find a nice looking nickel block to match the motherboard block. Powercolor rev 2 cards havent seen much love from EK and only have one option (Acetal + Nickel) and i just dont like the looks of it. Also looking to see if anyone can recommend a small pump/res combo and a 240 radiator to put in the top. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Kozlowlw/saved/wLGbt6 If anyone is interested in the case mods: Im taking off the front plate, cutting out *most* of the front of the chassis, extending the front with aluminium spacers, and mounting a smoked acrylic window to the front. Also going to replace the default window with smoked acrylic and depending on the radiator ill probably have to mod the top of the case to accommodate it. Going to remove the HDD cage. Also attaching a retina display using a display port board from adafruit and an iPad 3 screen to a scissor arm either to the top of the case or the back side. And somewhere on there i want to mount a handle if i can find room and make it look nice, if not then no biggy. edit: -- I know i messed up "Advice" in the thread name... I just saw it...
