Blue Snowball iCE is just incompatible with W10. This is the answer I've been searching for, for ages. Now I can finally rest assured to invest in a new mic! Thank you!

Okay, I paly a lot of FPS and in general just loads of games - But it sounds like I'd love the 500x and then I should spend time with the EQ and then perhaps later add some sort of AMP to pop it out a bit further??

FiiO E10K Olympus 2 - They allow bass boost, so I still don't know what to go for, heard great things about both and bad ones too

Which would you recommend? I've heard people using an AMP to buff the bass part of it, making them more desirable

I should've added that it's recently been my birthday, so I got a few gift cards I can use for this Scandinavian Tech store, and the top ones I can get is either the 500x or the X2, No AKG brand available unfortunately

Yeah I've heard that as well! That's also partly why I'm on the fence, but since I'm upgrading I'd like the audio to feel worth the extra cash I'm dishing out - Only problem is the fact that I can't try them anywhere

I'm looking to upgrade my HyperX Cloud 2's to something more focused on soundstage, so which ones are better for gaming and video editing? X2 or 500X and why? I've heard a lot of recommendations for the 500X's, but that they lack a bit bass though with great and large soundstage. I can afford either a pair of X2's, or the 500X with the possible addition of an AMP or DAC, but I'm still on the fence about which to choose, I can't try them out to see which one's the most comfy and which one I like the soundstage of the most HALP!

Indeed it is, making a lot of the "Budget" or "Deals" you see on either LTT or other channels not as good as they put them out to be

Well, I'd like to say yes, we got sites that offer the same, but so many people in DK tend to misjudge the actual worth of used items and won't budge because it's a Danish norm to "Always be right"... I've been trying to look for used items, but hardly with any luck!

What would you recommend? It's hard to find anything decent AND cheap (I know this is mostly the case, but I'm not about to spend $350 for little benefit over the rest) - And do keep in mind that we have a 25% VAT and other expenses, so approximately 50% of the price should be added on top

Indeed, it's kinda budget/size minded, but then again, I can easily end up overpaying for hardware when it's SOLE purpose is streaming Twitch, Youtube, Netflix and from my movie library NAS
