  1. Thanks for the reply, Well I'm not really attached to it, just seemed like a fun idea plus I would save money. Also I kinda want to buy a mechanical keyboard but I have a somewhat tight budget so it seemed like a good idea.
  2. Hi there, So a couple of years ago I bough an Alienware M14xR2 (I know it was a dumb idea but I was young and had no logic) and after a 2 years it just went all meh. Anyway I bough a new laptop and will build my own custom desktop soon but I really like the keyboard on the alienware and I want to somehow separate it and use it on the new PC build I'm going to build. I need help, I know how to take it out but I'm having trouble finding any info on how to attach the keyboard to a usb and use it as a normal usb keyboard. Any help would be greatly appreciated! -Thanks GooGuy B) How to take out the Alienware keyboard
  3. Good point the i5 will probably run cooler than the FX 8350 so now I'm leaning towards Intel, so any more reasons I should go AMD?
  4. Well, at the shop I'm getting (probably) there is only an 30$ difference between the i5 4670k and the FX 8350. so.... Really hard to decide now.
  5. In your case, I think yes because you're gonna need the extra cores and hyperthreading for the 3d modelling.
  6. Well if you want to overclock then get the unlocked cpu but if you don't then there's not much point in buying the unlocked version but I do recommend buying the unlocked version because if you do want to overclock in the future then you can instead of buying a new Cpu.
  7. Yeah, I know but AMD's are cheaper in general so if I can get an AMD chip I can get a better gpu or something. No need on spending extra money when I can save right?
  8. Well, I live in the U.A.E. My budget is still undecided depends on the cpu price I get and yes I do want to overclock.
  9. Hey, I'm soon going to start my very first PC build however I'm not to sure whether to go for a AMD APU/CPU or Intel CPU. I know all the perks/cons for Intel CPU's ( actually I already know which Intel CPU I'll get if I do choose Intel) but I don't want to overlook AMD processors and whenever I go to a website to research AMD processors they ALWAYS say that the "Best AMD processor is only as good as the lower end Intel processors" which seems very biased. Also most of the sites are not very helpful. Im not to sure if there is any truth to what they are saying, so I've come here hoping if some of you guys can help with this decision. Any advice is GREATLY appreciated. The PC Im looking to build is a mid-highish gaming/entertainment/some school work. Ps: The Intel processor I might choose is the i5 4670k it's a bit pricey (where I live I'm getting it for around $271) +Ps: I dont know that much about AMD processors so any info is helpful or suggestions as to which processor I should get.
