  1. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good TKL mechanical keyboards that offer Cherry MX silent black or linear grey switches. I don't really have any budgeting concerns, I would just like to see what my options may be without changing the switches out myself.
  2. In this case, as with most class actions, they sued representing anyone who bought a GTX 970. A deal was made regarding who was allowed to claim a part of the settlement and what time frame they have to submit their claim, then it was announced to the public and those with proof of purchase were allowed to submit to receive a portion of the settlement. The rest of the money goes to lawyers (most) and any other designated parties. Here is an old article I found that should help you. For your part, you are correct that there was a final hearing after a settlement was agreed upon. http://www.pcgamer.com/heres-how-to-claim-your-30-nvidia-geforce-gtx-970-settlement/
  3. I think it was mostly back when smartphones were newer and they were trying to cram features in. The call function took a back seat.
  4. Not much as long as it functions, but I thought I should check.
  5. Not entirely. It's probably an older train of though, but there were some smartphones that sucked at holding a call, which is my main use for a phone.
  6. Doesn't look bad, I'll throw it into consideration. How does it handle standard phone work (calls, texts, etc.)?
  7. I can probably wait until mid-March at the latest, my current phone hasn't been doing great lately. Either way, there will always be appealing new tech, I'm fine with being a generation or 2 behind.
  8. The Mix is far too large for my tastes, but I'll look into the Huawei P9. What would the cyanogen mod do for me?
  9. Didn't work, still can't see much in Dark Theme.
  10. Please fix your formatting for dark mode. Thanks
  11. So, I've been relatively trapped on iPhone for the past 6 years and I'm looking to switch to Android. I mostly use my phone for simple reminders, calls, texting, and email, but I also play a few games, take photos for work, and track calories on it. Does anyone have any suggestions for what I could look at? Preferences: ≤ 5.5" screen Dust resistant without case Somewhat tough Unlocked
  12. He just switched to a new computer and we need to grab the information from the databases he had created in the program for pricing. Unfortunately, becuase the program is old and the company is dead, I have found nothing that can read the files, in a way that I can use to decipher the information, other than the program itself. Once the information is received, I can try to convince him to change, but he doesn't want to change and is my boss, so it's my job to find a way to get it to work.
  13. I'll give it a try. He may be more amiable to a seamless mode than he is to a generic virtual machine.
  14. Compatability mode was one of the first things I tried and won't work on any of the versions available (back to Windows 95). As far as DOSBOX, there is no way my boss would understand how to use that without me intervening constantly. Thanks for the advice though.
  15. I'm trying to run a program called Superbase (I don't know the version number, but the file is from 1993) in Windows 10 64bit. If I try to open the application, or installer, I get the error below: The company stopped making new versions in 2003, went under and was bought out in 2009. From what I've looked up, it seems that the installer for Superbase is a 16bit proprietary installer, so it won't run in a 64bit version of Windows. So far, the only option I have found is to run a virtual machine of an older version of Windows or Linux, but I would prefer another option since this is for my boss, who isn't great with computers. Does anyone have any suggestions of what I can do or what program I can use?
