Yes, also, I used an extension cord for the 8 pin cpu connector but now it's directly attached to the psu. Nothing changed.

Hi guys. I tried to improve the airflow in my case by redoing the cable management (it was bad) but now when I power on my pc, the fans spin for half a second, turn off for half a second and turn back on and the pc continues to boot fine. I didn't have this before and the pc works fine. What I did: I turned the PSU upside down (fan was pointing up) because my case supports a bottom PSU fan. Moved the SSD to the SSD mount on the other side of the motherboard, I don't know why it wasn't there in the first place. Reseated the GPU. Reseated the CPU cooler which came loose for some reason while I was busy. (stock intel cooler) I replugged all the cables into the motherboard. When I powered on the pc it didn't boot because I forgot the CPU power cable (very stupid) but after I plugged it in it worked fine, except for the problem stated above. I have also noticed some random stuttering while watching videos on youtube. (not noticed while gaming) The temperatures are the same as before. Memtest86: No errors. (4 hours) Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool: Pass I don't know if this is a big problem and I don't know what to do about it. Any help will be appreciated. I have an R9 290X that hits 94C in 5 minutes with fans at 100% from 60C, it has an MSI Twin Frozr IV cooler... So a new one would be nice ;-;

What would be a good cpu cooler for overclocking an i7 4770k? Best cpu cooler under €50/$50?

I have an MSI R9 290X Twin Frozr IV, when gaming the temperature rises to 90 - 95C, idle temperature is 40C. Is this normal? I have bad cable management, so I guess I also have bad airflow. I have a dual monitor setup. Does good airflow have a big impact on the temperature?

I will try putting the 2 ram sticks in the other 2 slots, if that doesn't fix i will RMA it.

Both underclocking and overclocking doesn't work.

I have reinstalled amd catalyst but it didn't fix it, i also tried 15.3 beta but same results.

When gaming (happens in all games) i see the core clock dropping down every few minutes for 10 seconds with msi afterburner. In battlefield 4 it would go from 1030mhz to 750mhz and back up for 10 seconds, in league of legends 800mhz to 600mhz. It gives me big fps drops and i don't know what is causing this. The temperature of my CPU when playing league of legends is around 55C. My GPU around 60C. It started after a few months after installing my GPU (R9 290X). I previously had an R9 280X but it was faulty. I don't know if it's a GPU issue. I can see a bit of dust by the case fans but it is very little, should not be a problem and yes i am using the stock cooler and when the framedrops happen my cpu temperature is always between 50 and 60C. My gpu has never gone past 89C. I have league of legends installed on my ssd and battlefield 4 on my hdd, it happens in both games (and more) so it is not hard drive related? I never have too many background processes And a recent virusscan showed no threads.
