  1. that didnt work either. i have no sound from digital audio jack on back of pc fml lol
  2. i think i might just try getting a 3.5mm extension and plug in to the jack on the rear io. ty for your speedy replies. when i disable the digital output is still disconnects the speakers headphones and it just doesnt have sound at all. and the voip is set to do nothing. tyvm for the ideas
  3. they are both set to speakers and headphones until i connect to teamspeak and it changes on its own to digital output and speakers/headphones is no longer connected.
  4. also, when vent or teamspeak are open i can hear the people talking in the lobby i just cant hear my game. preferably i would like to hear both.
  5. I got a pair of sennheiser zero headphones for gaming. i also recently got an hp envy phoenix pc. when i have wow open everything works great. my default audio is to speakers/headphones IDT high definition audio CODEC and i can hear my game. when i open vent or teamspeak the default audio changes to digital output (s/pdif) IDT high definition audio CODEC and the speakers/headphones become disconnected. In teamspeak the default audio is set as speakers/headphones and in the sound window in windows it is also set as default, except when it magically disconnects. i have windows 8.1 and do not have a sound card. headphones are connected to the mic and headphone jack on front of pc. (green and red) and not to the black optical out on rear i/o. why is my default sound changing on its own and how do i fix this.
  6. ok. thanks and thx for quick replies
  7. Is there a good way to find and delete duplicate photos, my sister has thousands of pics on her computer and wants to remove all of the duplicates. is there a program or method of quickly removing them.
  8. i wouldn't skimp on anything. if you are going to take the enthusiast path and watercool you may as well do it right. if you skimp on fittings or clamps and you get a leak and fry $1000 of graphics card you didnt really save much did you. As far as your ambient temps are concerned...if will only make the ambient temp hotter. the whole point of water cooling is to take MORE heat from the cpu, gpu, whatever component you are watercooling and transfer it to the water. the hot water goes to the radiator where the heat from the hot/warm water is dissipated into the air instead of the copper/aluminum fins of a air cooler into the air. the reason the component is going from ~80c to ~40c is because MORE of the heat is going into the air. if you are water cooling to make your room cooler you are going to have a bad time.
  9. it is amazing what you can learn from a few videos and how much more there is to learn that you simply cannot learn from a video. you have inspired me to research and plan a future pc build that will...eventually be built when the funds agree that a new pc is viable (hopefully soon). now i watch your videos mostly for entertainment as you are quite the character. i still find it funny how enthusiastically you say "but"
  10. - snip - i say to you in the words of will smith (iRobot) "stop cussing, cause you're not good at it"
  11. go to your browser settings and change your homepage and any other pages to google or back to whatever you want your homepage to be. set your default search engine back to google or whichever you prefer. go into control panel/ add remove programs and look for anything that looks suspicious and if it does google it. something like snapdo (the one i was having problems with) and if its not important uninstall it. when you are downloading new things make sure to read all the boxes that are checked. sometimes it will sneak programs on your computer because you left some boxes checked. sneaky bastards
  12. im sorry. i figured it was available because linus had one for his m8 when he did the review. however on their website it just says coming soon. : / i hope the spigen works good for you
  13. not sure...sorry. its the one the girl put on when i got it and i didnt see what brand it was. sorry. however. i remember linus doing a review of a glass screen protector fairly recently. you might want to look for that video
  14. so only men can have opinions? how sexist.
