  1. It's 100% my computer, I just testd it on our media pc, which is connected by ethernet over power, and it's working fine, while both ethernet and wireless don't work on my machine, both are connected and say they have internet access but when things long they're unbelievably slow.
  2. I don't think it's my router, my laptop is connected to the same router and is pretty much fine, thought the connection has gotten generally a little worse than it was a few months ago, and they increased our bandwidth from 500gb to 1tb for no reason, seems kinda sus.
  3. Over the last month or so my internet has gotten worse, I often get very bad packet loss (sometimes as high as 90%) and some terribly high ping (500+ somtimes), it is usually fixed for a short amount of time by turning my router off and on again. But today it's been unusable but only on my desktop, my laptop is running fine. My desktop uses both wireless and ethernet over power, both are having the same problem. My laptop is using wireless. In addtion to this my isp put on a 'noise protection filter' after i called them and i think its causing some websites to not load properly or incosistantly, imgur being the most notable one. But the lag has been going on since before that. Desktop specs: CPU: i7 3770k Motherboard: MSI Z77A-GD65 RAM: 8GB Kingston HyperX GPU: Gainward GTX 570 Case: Corsair 650D Storage: 128GB OCZ Vertex 4 + Seagate Barracuda 2TB PSU: Silverstone Stirder 850W Display(s): Asus PB278Q + BenQ G2420HD Operating System: Windows 7 Some pingtest + speedtest screenshots: (Note that i was doing the same tests on my laptop at the same time and getting very acceptable results.) http://imgur.com/a/FML14 Note: for the last screenshot, neither of the tests finished, even after 30 minutes. Sorry if this is hard to grasp, it's making me very stressed and I really don't know how to articulate it. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.
  4. What keycap set is that? Also nice bro

  6. It's the same brand but I'm not sure if it's the same model, would that be fine?
  7. Can you just add any kit to an already existing kit? Looking to add this http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=25759 to an already existing kit. I'm pretty sure they're the same but wanted to make sure there wasn't going to be any problems before buying, just in case.
  8. Yea, didn't help unfortunately. Ram compatibily is possible but I also tried several sticks around my house and none of them worked, which lead me to believe that its either the board or pcu. What do you mean by short? Somethings shorting out the board?
  9. Few things: - 287Q is 28' - 278Q is PLS (variation of ISP as far as I'm aware) - I can't speak for the 287Q (althought I'm pretty sure they have the exact same design) but the 278Q has pretty thick bezels I have a 278Q and it's gorgeous, best $600 I've spent and would definitely recommend. The 287Q has a few issues, namely: - TN panel - 4k Scaling issues in windows (which if your coding could be a serious issue) Sorry about the confusing naming btw.
  10. Looking into buying one, was originally gonna go with an M45 from corsair but the ergonomics looked a bit uncomfortable and the FK1 has a very similar shape to my current sensei which I find very comfortable.
  11. Can't find a whole lot about this mouse but what I've found has been overwhelmingly positive, anyone here had any experiences with it? Or about Zowie in general? Thanks.
  12. Couldn't find a speaker but replaced the mobo and cpu with an old p55 mobo with an i7-870 and it worked, i guess this means either the mobo or cpu is the issue. Any thoughts?
  13. I built a computer for a friend of mine but it won't post. Every time we turn it on the computer starts up normally but never posts. We've tried several different monitors and everyting outlined in this thread and yet it still won't post System Specs: Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 CPU: AMD FX-6300 RAM: G.Skill 8GB GPU: Asus Direct CUII gtx 750ti PSU: Corsair CX500M 500W SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB HDD: WD Green 2TB Some LG optical drive All in a Corsair 200R Any help would be greatly appreciated.
