No hardware changes. I updated the bios and installed windows 11.

I am going to start with replacing the Display port cables and then monitor. Will try doing a clean install of windows 10 and see if it helps. I think it might be the latest bios that asus released. I have a asus rog hero viii mobo. Should i still replace the power supply since its 8 years old?

What could it be? Monitor, DP cable, MOBO? I am trying to figure out what could be the problem. Even on the desktop sometimes randomly it freezes and comes back. Please advise.

I did a clean install of windows 11 OS. My gameplay is not smooth at all. You would think having a 5900x with 3080 i shouldnt be running into any performance issues but i am. I have been having issue with my current PSU i bought in 2013. Randomly monitor screen will go black and come back, games will not play smoothly when in full screen or bordless not sure if the PSU is the issue but i am going to get it replaced since its old.

What should I upgrade to? i7 9700k or i9 9900k? Also recommended mobo with the CPU? Please let me know.

All, I recently wanted to do a clean install of windows 10 1803 build. For some weird reason When doing a clean install, the boot time is almost to a minute. When doing the install i disabled CSM in the BIOS and changed UEFI mode to other OS instead of windows UEFI and boot time is just too slow. With my previous windows 10 backed up image which the boot time is less then 10 seconds. Any ideas? I am running z77 with i7 3770k 16Gb of ram. Please help
